I was visiting the legacy earlier and on the tour pages it said that If Anyone Falls was performed at the AHI benefit right after Leather and Lace. Is this true? Can Anyone confirm?

thanks

I don't think it's true.

In Vegas, Stevie said after the song, "Only in Vegas do we do this song."

Nope, I was at the AHI concert, she didn't sing it. Boo.

Oh okay thanks for confirming!

I wonder why she only did it at the Vegas shows, I mean it was a hit, did well on the charts and gets radio play.

No, it wasn't played at the Phoenix show. The Phoenix show was very short. Don Henley was there, but he didn't get to sing any of his own songs, I'm sorry to say. It would have been fun to hear Stevie sing on "Hotel California," as she had during the twovoices tour. As others have said, Stevie was distracted that night. She mentioned her father broke his leg. We didn't know how serious that was until she put out her journal update. She referred to Jimmy Paxon (the really cool drummer) as Jimmy Paige. The band was laughing amongst themselves, but Stevie didn't notice her error. Then she forgot to introduce Waddy. When she realized that mistake, she was very embarassed. Yet it all made sense after reading her concern for her father.

(Thank you for this one, SaraRhiannon!)
"Actually, my father and Rebecca were responsible for "Go Ahead Lily" because it was like, one time on the Wild Heart tour, I was sick, I had pneumonia and I was laying on the ground with a towel over my face; I had just done my exercises --who cares if you have pneumonia-- and my father came in and said, 'I have to talk to you.' And I said, 'if it's about business, I don't want to talk about it right now.' And he walks over and looks down at me and goes... he went to say something, and I said 'Dad, I'm sick' and he said, 'I don't care. Nobody cares, Stevie. They've paid their money. So either get well or go home.' And of course, this kind of an attitude to me is like, well, I'm absolutely fine, you know? And I'm instantly well."
~Stevie Nicks, Off the Record with Mary Turner, 1986

The show must go on. Daddy said so. She did dedicate Landside to her father.
