FFG kicks Planets ass in so many ways. Im thrilled Stevie has decided to keep pretty much the two best live songs from this album in her current set. TISL is my favorite song, but it might not have worked live.

This game sucks. The last three are all excellent and deserving of the title of Sole Survivor. Personally, I love TISL, the song, the most and hope it wins. Lyrically it is her best song in years and the honesty she conveys in it blows me away.
My favorite part:

and

"show me the way back..honey" I love when Stevie admits she "needs" something in her lyrics.

It is one of the best things she ever wrote. Yeah, the ending is a bit too much, but it still kicks ass. If I had my way, though, it would be TISL and It's Only Love duking it out. Of course, TISL would still win.

It eventually grew on me musically (although still not a favorite) but I seriously think it is one of my top 3 lyrically. I love the production they did on it on TISL though.. Here's the question- do people really love the music for POTU that much? I think maybe people love it because of the demo?

I prefer the version on the Rumours reissue (actually, I LOVE that version) and since the one on TISL isn't it, I don't particularly care for it. The one on TISL is very cold and detached, which isn't helped by the over-the-top production, imo.

I love it so much for the intro. I hadn't heard the demo when I loved it.

That's actually my favorite part, I often don't listen to the whole song. But that part carries a lot of weight with me. The rest of the song is pretty good, though.
