I'm extremely tired so not a lot of words from me right now. Just a general note would be to say that she had tons of energy and was really "chatty" and everything was "fabulous." Her voice sounded great and she put on a great performance, except when her voice cracked during 'Has Anyone Written...' which I attempted to ignore. 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Fall From Grace' were my favorites tonight. I love what she does at the end of 'Gold Dust Woman' now. The Baby, Baby, Baby...s were a nice touch. Nice to see something a little different than the Say You Will tour. And even 'Rhiannon' seemed especially good tonight.
I have a pretty decent video clip of 'Sorcerer' if anyone is interested:

Thanks for your Sorcercer video clip! Sparky and I were going to blaze down to Anaheim and see SN, but, instead we got killer seats to go see Robert Plant and The Strange Sensations at the Greek Theatre! Rocking! He closed with "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE" ! See you all at Universal Theatre on Tuesday night!

It was truly an amazing show...she was on fire...and yes as she said "I'm very chatty tonight" lol...She dedicated HAEWAFY to her cousin, and told the story of her cousin who said if anything ever happens to us would you take care of my kids, and Stevie said she told her of course she would...Landslide was dedicated to her manager Howard Kauffman, who she said was in the audience...and she said "if it werent for him I would not be standing on this stage tonight..." she got a little emotional when talking about Howard..

I loved the new GDW hand motions where she puts her hands over ears...she did the "baby baby baby baby..." instead she said "you cant save me now, you cant free me now, you cant do it now.." repeating that....She did many twirls during GDW in the end, and lots of cool motions..eventually ending it hovering over Waddy...

Another highlight was OTR, I loved in the end when she says "outside the rain and the heart skips a beat" and the drum hits, she punchs in the air with the drums....She did the hula dance during the guitar intro to Dreams...

Circle Dance was incredible, she talked about how she came to love it, and was an awesome version---she said "Thank you Bonnie" after it was over..

She was in a wild, and chatty, and just plain out excited mood it seemed...I think it may very well be the BEST Stevie show I've ever seen.

One dissappointment was asshole security, who ONLY let up the front row to the stage during Edge of 17..even though there was no-one at all standing to the left of the stage--they even made a point to make a barracade, locking arms, to the side of the stage so no-one could get up there, even though in the beginning I was told the first 2 rows would be allowed up... Someone gave mardi gras type beads during Edge...Edge was an intense and awesome version...LOOONNNG scream and lots of adlibs..

I thought the little ad for the ONE CAMPAIGN which played before Vanessa came on was great...Vanessa was actually a true highlight..she is an amazing talent, and her songs are so good--I had no idea how good she really is...I will have to go get her Harmonium CD...She was also very chatty saying her record company "blew" when the CD came out...she messed up on one of the new unreleased songs and stopped and said "f*ck!" lol...she was fun, everyone loved her..

Surprisingly...the crowd was very full, I was surprised she filled so many seats at Anaheim, I guess she draws bigger crowds in Calif...some ppl although waited to take their seats until after Vanessa was finished, and in the very back at the top, they had a small upper section curtained off, so I guess they didnt sell those seats..but I would say there was easily 11000 ppl there....

ROCK N ROLL was a true highlight...she came out and when the guitar started did a HUGE high kick with her right leg at Waddy, literally higher than the SB kick (SB was also amazing, crowd loved it)...she was sure shaking her legs in those sexy pants during RNR . She looked fantastic...more later

A few other Anaheim things...

HAEWAFY was truly a great version...it was more like the album version although the way she sang it, compared to the recent live versions of the last few years...instead of ending with the "Priest of nothinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng" she kinda whispered "legend...poet..priest of nothing..legend...poet..." over and over..was really good...

I had an extra 2nd row ticket because I got them at such a good price on Ebay, $199 for 2...I couldnt find anyone who wanted to buy it, so before the show began, I gave it to a random man sitting alone up high..he was psyched..I had HOPED that that good deed would came back to me in the form of shaking Stevie's hand during EDGE, but no..lol..

Someone mentioned RHIANNON was especially good..it was WAY better than when I saw her with Henley on June 16 in ATL....She really got into...and funny thing I heard a man behind me saying during it "wow she's still got nice breasts"...lol..thought that was funny..

Lots of people, especially casual fans mentioning how small and healthy she looked...and she really does...especially in those pants.

BATB was intense, and incredible...this time they played the film on the big screen behind the stage, and had Stevie on the projection screen--I know some had complained in the past that those in the back couldnt see how beautiful she looked in the outfit, because they were playing just the film on all the screens...

Oh yes BOOTILICIOUS, really really got everyone going before the show...maybe because I think they were playing it louder than usual...it even got me going! haha

Stop Draggin...also seemed to be a crowd favorite, and she was really playing with Waddy during it...

I have to say I think this set list flows very well, the rock numbers are really good..and the "ballads" just fit..it doesnt make it seem too slow or like there's too many ballads. FALL FROM GRACE was better than usual last night also, she really got into the ending, and people who didnt even know the song seemed to like it...

now I wonder how long before the DVD's of the California shows appear (As they always do shortly thereafter).
