I visited the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last week and was disappointed with the few FM items on display. There is a Stevie dress (pink...kind of neat but NOT at all indicative of Stevie's well known wardrobe), also a John McVie bass. Thats it...thats all I could find...what really through me off was the HUGE amount of non-inducted artists items on display...a whole wall of Duran Duran?? Is anyone aware of other things I missed? I did see the Rolling Stone FM cover...I was totally underwhelmed. What do we need to do to get the musueum to give Stevie and FM appropriate recognition?

Get Hard Rock to give up some of their displays?

I wonder if Stevie ever visits the Rock Hall when touring in Cleveland? I bet she has BOXES of things to donate.

can you imagine the museum we could put together? The Ledgie Collection... amongst all of us, i'm sure that we've got everything.

I just visited the RnRHOF last month when I went to Cleveland for the Cuyahoga Falls show. There is also the black dress from the cover of the Rumours album. It's in a display case against the wall with a bunch of other stuff. Some things were in front of it, so you couldn't see the entire thing at once. It was not hard to miss....

Luv,
Shel

Shel...you are kidding me...I searched for FM stuff. I was told the black dress in the case of "70's California sound" was Linda Ronstadts. Crap.

Yeah, I've been to the Rock and Roll Museum in Cleveland. Fleetwood Mac is not given proper representation. When I was there I overheard some girl complaining out loud "Where is the Roxette display? They were ripped off!" All I could do was laugh and think "WTF?"

I recently went the the Music Experience in Seattle. The emphasis is heavy on Jimi Hendrix (Paul Allen -one of the richest men in world via MicroSoft- is a big Hendrix fan and, well, he built the museum.) Still, there was one dress from Stevie. I can't remember what it looked like...but I didn't recognize it.

Yeah, I know it was very easy to miss it. I think it had the Rumours album propped in front of it along side stuff from other bands. I wish we could have taken pictures!!

I guest Stevie has to do some fall cleaning in her closets after this tour is done.she can donate to the RnRHOF besides the Hard Rock Cafe, she will make us happy , and it's a tax writeoff for her.Mick and the guys can do the same.
Stevie can open up her own museum in Phoenix and call it the Wildheart Cafe ,LOL .she can let the fans put their collectables on display too.also she can send the proceeds to The City of Hope, or ONE.

What is sad is people would bring promo items - posters ...etc for her to sign backstage and she would go "when did they come out with this?" I don't think they paid much attention to how they were marketed. I don't think she has alot of "collectibles" at home. (Except dresses, photos - personal stuff like that).
