Las Vegas Concert - Ledgies Meeting

If you are planning to go to the concert in Las Vegas, I think it would be cool to set up a time to meet. I think either dinner before, or maybe drinks/munchies afterward. Any ideas? Margaritaville after was suggested. I think dinner before might be a nice switch. If you are going - let us know, and what you think would be best. :wavey:

I cannot attend, but can say that The Palm is right there and is FANTASTIC - as it the W. Puck (I think) place sort of across the round area from The Palm. Finally, the little bar right across from the entrance to the theatre makes a killer marg.

Puck was cool in that the price range was more varied as was the menu a la light oriental salads to steaks.

The Palm is expensive, but the portions are HUGE so two could split an order and walk away full - and the mashed potatoes there are to die for!!!!!!!!!

I am a little jealous of you all if for nothing other than the great food with friends :mad: :laugh:

OMG, this cracked me up! :laugh: I am saving for a down payment on a house--it will be my first home purchase, and it would be so awesome if I could manage 20% to avoid mortgage insurance. That and Vegas unfortunately do not mix, so I will most likely not be going. Ah, sacrifices.

Right now things are up in the air again and switching between Santa Barbara and Vegas, but if I make it to Vegas, I'd love to see everyone. (Keep fingers crossed because right now nothing's looking good.)

If we do go, perhaps I'll head over to my parents and eat any crumbs that fall from their dinner table. And if I do go to Vegas, there's always McDonald's.

ok.. so as it turns out, i am staying in Vegas until monday!!! I could not find a single flight on sunday that was cheaper than $250 or that was leaving at a decent time or without 4 connecting flights :rolleyes:

You may wanna try getting an 80-10-10 loan. That's what I did - basically, you come up w/ a 10% downpayment and have 2 separate loans, one for 80 and one for 10, no PMI!!

i actually like the 'oriental' best. once upon a time, back in college when i had zero dollars i found a super cheap brand called Smack. that's right Oriental Smack. it was ten/dollar and it was pretty good. and it was called Smack!
