Oh my gosh - going by that guy's user ID, he obviously isn't afraid to admit what he is.
I knew this was going to happen. Darn Chris Nicks for not getting tourbooks out to every concert venue. Nobody should have to pay ridiculous prices for one of these.

An $80 profit they are trying to make?
I should have bought a lot more and sold them face value so the East Coast peeps would have a fighting chance to get a book w/o going broke.

I bid on a Rumours tourbook yesterday and lost out at $46. I put in a high bid of $45. Ah well. Now, I see some guy is selling one for $75 and it's not even in mint condition! Whatevah.

Give it a few months, the feeding frenzy will die down and they will be on for alot less.

Did I dream this, overhear this or was it posted somewhere- wasn't there word that the tourbooks were going to be made available via NicksFix for those that couldn't buy them (as they weren't available) earlier in the tour?
THAT would be reasonable, as there are sure to be leftovers. Before anyone doles out their hard earned cash on these eBay goons, maybe someone can contact The Nicks Fix.

how come the tourbook doesn't say "Gold Dust Tour" on them?
"Tour of 2005" sounds kinda weak to me as a title of a tourbook

I agree with this--the same thing happened with the SYW tourbooks--now they go for about $10!! Although I haven't really seen any being sold lately so maybe they will go back up in price.......

I emailed John about a week ago and asked him about the tourbooks and never received a reply. Maybe he doesn't know for sure or something.
And I agree, right now the price of tourbooks seems really inflated.

My guess? It was supposed to be ready at the beginning of the summer, and had to cover both the Two Voices and Gold Dust Tour. And, uh, Chris was a little slow off the take.
Shocking.

These people are out of their minds! All I can say is that they MUST have money to burn. That is simply outrageous!

You think they might know someone on the West Coast who could pick one up for them for $20.00!!

This second one that is posted has 9 bids and is up to $167.50 with the auciton ending in 3 hours. With the first one for $100.00, I just kinda rolled my eyes and thought how crazy it was. Now that I see this with 9 bids and about to close at $170.00, it makes me wonder, "exactly how important is it to me that I keep my tourbook?"
Geez a profit like that would buy me a Vegas concert ticket! ;)

Let's hope this 'chance' becomes a reality...I know it's silly and these aren't the best quality but since I have all the tourbooks I MUST have this one! I refuse to pay some money hungry idiot over $100 for a tourbook...that's just INSANE!!!!

Unfortunately, much like the buying of presale passwords, i'm sure someone ill informed will end up shelling out a shitton for this. Ridiculous.

if i end up going to vegas, i'm buying as many tour books as my credit card can handle and then i'm passing them out to ledgies everywhere. why not? they're small, they've got post offices in las vegas. there's actually a UPS store right across the street from Caesar's Palace. it would/will be my good deed. people who sell stuff like this when it's still out there and easily available make me nauseous.

Listen, if you can get your hands on some extra tourbooks and wouldn't mind selling to the Ledgies, can I be the first in line to get one? I do NOT mind AT all compensating you for your time, effort, and shipping costs! More importantly, ANYTHING beats having to pay $175 for one!
