Hey Jill :wavey:. I don't think so. I got a handshake that night, but I don't have an LV purse. I think I was on the left side on the 10th, toward the beginning of the "Edge" walk.

I am pretty sure you are on there. You have a black kind of big hand bag and a blue jacket. Maybe a jean jacket.

There are a bunch! I was playing Spot The Ledgie when I got my copies of the vids. Very cool that so many here were up front for those shows.

Does anyone have the vid from the 13th? I wanna know if I show up, cause the way I recall it going down, vs. the way it prolly really happened would be of much interest to me! To be honest, w/ any memory of a handshake, I wonder if any at all have been captured =0(
I'm in a flowered black dress, w/ brown-red hair, and right after Stevie shakes my hand, I become a sniveling idiot. :distress:  :distress:

I have 2 of the videos Anita but I'm not sure if I have the 13th.......do you think you might have been in any of the others?? Mine are on loan right now with a friend--but I bought Wednesday night and Saturday night--what were those dates?? And if it makes you feel any better--I don't think I even looked Stevie in the face the first time I shook her hand at DTE..... I made sure I made some eye contact the second time in Grand Rapids!! LOL!! But it is still all kind of a fog to me :0P If ANYONE got some pix of the handshakes from these two shows I would love to know if I am in any of them...... my husband took a picture of the lady next to us shaking hands with Stevie but didn't bother to take mine  NICE!!

Well, I didn't ever really say what happened that night. I made it up front for all 4 shows, but here is the deal. On the 13th, peopel up front were pushier than ever. Waiting even less to make a run for the front. Fine by me, as I was one of the flock. LOL. But, as they pressed towards the front, the security to my left, who had been nice to me all night, but still ever the nazi guard (a joke!) sorta lost control of the masses, and made a human curve to keep them in check to my left. On my right, the security guard had his arms outstretched, but the tip of his hand, was like an inch from me. So on the left, the guy was busy, and on my right, for the guy to keep me in check as well, just wasn't an issue, cause he was making sure what was happening on my left wasn't gonna happen to him. Following so far? So me, not wanting to miss my opportunity, nor piss off a guard so that he hates me the following night, I keep my cool, but for all intents and purposes, there was NO ONE to my right or left. When Stevie came to me (LOL...in a dream....) she took both my hands, made eye contact, and some dumbass banter was exchanged. Likely me professing my love (how original) and her going like "yea, ok. thanks. Never heard that before."   Immediately thereafter, I start searching my bag for a hanky. Should't be hard to miss on a DVD.
So, anyone seen "Final Cut?" It's a movie that talks about how your brain stores memories, and even though you think that's EXACTLY how it happened, you never know until you see it again. I need a final cut folks.

yeah, having a purse that is nearly exactly like those of half of the women ages 18-28 in this country is just lame. oooh, cute purse. no it's not... it looks like that lady's and that lady's and that lady's and that lady's. why oh why oh WHY!!!??? spend that kind of money to look so unoriginal? i'd rather have a brown paper bag for my wallet and and other purse junk. really... a brown paper bag would be better.

I have not seen the movie. But I do have all 4 DVDs but the 11th and the 13th are defective so I can't see Edge. :( I am getting replacements.
Anyway, I was near the very end of the stage near the corner for Edge on the 14th. I don't remember Stevie touching my hand that night but when I look at the video I see a girl who looks like me in that same spot and Stevie touches her hand. I also for the life of me can't remember what I wore that night. The girl has on something sleeveless and I don't know if I did or not but she also has no jewelry on her right hand just like me.
I have a final cut and I still don't know if it is me or not.
I do know where I am the 10th. You can see my camera before you see me.
I am going to post a screen shot when I get home tonight. Maybe we can all post a screen shot of our Stevie moment.

i meant nothing against you for talking about a LV bag... i was just laughing at the whole concept of half of the women in this country spending so much money for nearly the exact same bag (with a few alterations from year to year) i just think it's a total waste of money when it only makes you look like a lemming. i can think of a hundred much better uses for $700
stevie tickets, perhaps?

Yay, someone agrees! Not only that, but I don't get what's so attractive about the designs. The white ones with different colored initials are tacky, and the brown ones make me think of crotchety old ladies. They both look like they're from the wallpaper print reject bin.
(Sorry if anyone here likes or has LV purses . They're a pet peeve of mine.)

LV purses are hideous.
I've only watched the Tues 5/10 DVD so far, and I think you may see me & Theresa's hands waving up at Stevie when she reaches the end of the stage  . Needless to say we were WAY too far over to reach her.
I have been saving Wed 5/11. I wonder if I'll be able to see my hand futiley reach for hers & miss by 2 feet. :p

18-28? Around here, it's even older than that -- lots of soccer moms carrying that crap around trying to look like teenagers. I do own a few (not LV) but I didn't buy any of them. Despite my love of accesories, I can't reason shelling out that kind of money for a designer bag just so people can comment, "is that real?!?" My grandparents went to Italy and they bought two small handbags back with them (some relatives i've never met bought them for me) and then I have one from the Trump Plaza (that just tells you my nana? gambles too much). What cracks me up is that most of the bags people are carrying around aren't real -- they're fakes. How many people can actually afford that stuff? Why try so hard?? It's just stupid. With the exception of one bag, they all sit in their cheese cloth -- I don't carry them.

D'OH! I forgot to clarify that I'm waiting for a DVD torrent. I got all the audio torrents and they are GREAT. I noticed that most of the audio was ripped from DVDs. If the audio can be torrented, WHY CAN'T THE ACTUAL DVDS BE TORRENTED?!?!?!?!?

That's my real problem, is spending so much, for something so boring and ugly. I swear, even if I am ever rich, I will never by expensive things just for status. They HAVE to be supacute.

Jeremy (who torrented these audio rips) explained elsewhere that his hard drive is too small for the job. So we should find someone else who's willing to share it all.
