Thanks so much for the link to Bob Welch's board. I scurried over there and posted a question re: the rumour of a pre-Rumours reunion and Bob answered immediately. What a great surprise!
(wow, do you guys think that's really Bob posting?! my respect for rock and rollers goes waaay up when they communicate with fans.)
Here is his reply:
"Laura....Thanks for all the "props" and praise! It doesn't seem like 32 years has passed since MTM was released...I still feel 22 ...well.. maybe 23 ;-) I don't know if there will be a reunion tour...I've talked to Mick Fleetwood about it , but nothing has been planned. Believe me , if anything like that happens , I'll post it on the site. Thanks for listening all these years ! Bob Welch"
Let's all think good thoughts about this "idea" and hope that it comes to pass.

Wow, that's a great story. would most definitely be there if that happened. I've been to his site a couple times, and although I havent asked Bob any questions, its nice to hear that he answers them promptly. :)

I hope so. I would like to hear some of the pre Rumours songs live again.

Boy, I would love to hear them too. We can dream, can't we? And if it happens some day, then our dreams would have come true!

I think I'd like to hear Station Man, Hypnotized, Sentimental Lady (although it would be kind of a bummer without Chris), Man Of The World, Albatross, Need Your Love So Bad, Trinity....That's about half a set list isn't it?

Add Emerald Eyes, Why, and Angel.

Add Emerald Eyes, Why, and Angel.
I would give a vital organ to hear her play Why. I purposely left Chris's older material out because I don't think there's any chance she will ever play live again. In that case, I'd want to hear Heroes Are Hard To Find, Spare Me A Little and Did You Ever Love Me.

And, "Future Games", "Remember Me", "Believe Me", "The Way I Feel", "Come A Little Bit Closer", "Prove Your Love" & "She's Changing Me"... but only if by some miracle Christine ever played live again.

I wish I had it on hand. I've listened to the album quite a bit, No, its something about "All the things you do" does that sound right? I know I've heard it on a few early Rumours tour boots

Tell Me All the Things You Do. That was a Danny Kirwan song.

Yes. I think I have it on 3-21-77 in Philadelphia. or somewhere near it. I believe it was dropped pretty quickly. It seems that they changed the setlist somewhat frequently on that tour. Wo, I knew something one of the administartors didnt. that's a first.

"Tell Me All The Things You Do" was also done on all those Rumours rehearsals, although it was Lindsey & Chris on most of those vocals. Stevie & Lindsey did the vocals at the Philadelphia show.
I think they took those early songs out of their set list when it was becoming obvious that the Rumours album was becoming a massive hit.
