Alright - I have to say, in case I didn't say in my 5:23am review, this was the best I have ever seen of Stevie. She was, in a word, flawless. Beautiful. Stunningly beautiful. And her voice was strong and she hit every note. The other thing, and I was talking about this with Bree as we left the show, she moved a whole lot more confidently last night, and with a whole lot less... awkwardness? Is that the word? I just find she looked far more natural last night. Really happy in her own skin. It was so great to see... when you think of where she was in the late 80s, and where she is today. I bow down in her presence. She has come back a long, long way, and she was in absolute top form last night. So here is my review, to the best of my memory:
The Genie - Good. Lots of people still arriving when he started. I had to laugh - I said to Bree, he sort of looks like an old guy, eh? Well, I guess he is. Guess ya had to be there... :sorry:
Witchy Woman - I've always loved this song, because even though I don't know for sure that it's about Stevie, I've always imagined it is... :)
I Put a Spell on You - think of the jeans commercial when I hear it  I think Don put on his winter jacket at the end of this one...
Hotel California (with Stevie) - Okay - I was just about jumping out of my skin with anticipation by the time this one started. We were in the 5th row of the pit, dead centre. Stevie came out way earlier than I think she has in earlier shows. Maybe it was a longer walk. But the minute everyone caught glimpse of her walking out from backstage the place erupted. Don sort of smiled, too - he knew she was out. And she was right besdie him by the time he sang "There she stood in the doorway." I have grown tired of this song in recent years - but it's now a huge favourite. I bet if they released a live version of this, it would be a huge hit all over again... And can I just say AGAIN - those pants? Hott!!!
New York Minute (with Stevie) - also beautiful. She wailed. It was perfect.
The Last Worthless Evening (with Stevie) - ditto
Boys of Summer - so perfect for a (chilly) June night.
Heart of the Matter
Dirty Laundry
Life in the Fast Lane
All She Wants to Do is Dance - so funny after this. Don goes, "Okay, so this is the part where we would normally leave and you would clap and then we'd come back on... but we're gonna skip that part, and just keep going!" Clearly trying to squeeeeeze it all in before 11pm curfew!

End of the Innocence
Desperado
All of the above just rocked out. Dirty Laundry, especially, was a huge surprise. Great song live. EOTI was beautiful, as was Desperado.
But on to the magnificient goddess... :]
Bootylicious Intro - such a great way to get the crowd up.
Outside The Rain - shivers as it came up. The crowd went wild for her, and she looked like she was having the time of her life..
Dreams - you know, I never listen to this on CD, but live, I still love it.
Rhiannon - same here - but the piano intro was lovely, and it's great when the guitars kick in.
Enchanted - amazing!!! Up til now, she hadn't gone off and changed outfits - they were really tight on time, which was a bonus for the audience. Cause there weren't a whole lot of pauses.
Gold Dust Woman (with Don Henley) - she went off and got the gold shawl of course. Have I mentioned she was stunning? Honestly, the woman looks 35. The slow dance was SOOOO funny. (God, I think the slow dance was during GDW!) They were standing reeeeally close, it looked so hot... unless you realized they were chit chatting through the whole thing. It was HILARIOUS!! They're locked together, slowly turning, but meantime, talking and laughing into each other's ear. Wish I could have heard them...
Circle Dance (Bonnie Raitt cover) - so lovely. She did just a short intro of it, said it was written by Bonnie Raitt, she believed for her father. Oneof their favourites and they wanted to share it with us.
Band Introduction - very sweet intros. I love how she intros Carols - "there was a time in the 80s where I could hardly stand up, and Carlos always helped me to stand up." What a great band - they all seem to really love being together and performing.
Stand Back - um... kicked A$$!!! Ten twirls, and a GREAT kick at the end.
Beauty and the Beast - stunning. I'm using that word a fair bit here. But the outfit was gorgeous. Hopefully someone got better pics than me. Mine all suck. Can't see a thing. But she had her hair up, and then the top of the bodice had back netting, and there was a low cut sort of ruff of a low cut collar. Hard to describe. She looked very regal. And it was dead on.
Edge of Seventeen - OMG.... security was horrid, but we made friends with a really sweet guy. I told him it was my birthday (which it really was) and he let us rush - and we got right up to the stage. The guy up there, though? He was such an anal a$$. He was holding us back even though there was space at the stage. Me? I'm thinking, yeah, whatever buddy. When she comes this way, there's more of us, and you're going down!! And we all just suuuuurged forward - he had his arm RIGHT across my boobs, and I was thinking, "yeah, knock yourself out, old man. I'm shaking Stevie's hand no matter what." And I did. :o I held one of her velvetty gloved hands in both of mine, and she looked right at me and smiled, and I said thank you, and she nodded and said you're welcome. Then she actually grabbed my other hand again as she went by, and then on her way back AGAIN, I held sort of up around her wrist (cause I wanted to see what those gloves felt like up her arm). And again, teeny, teeny little hands on this teeny, teeny little person. She looked SO happy.

Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around (with Don Henley) - GREAT attitude in this one. I wrote about it in my early morning review. I've been listening to the boots, and I never cared for the way she goes "Yeah, yeah, yeah" in the chorus. But it SO works when you see it. They sing the chorus to each other, and Stevie is just smoking when she yells "Stop!" They really did have great chemistry last night.
Leather and Lace (with Don Henley) - :xoxo: very lovely. Perfcet. At the end of it, Stevie said something to Don (probably like, I think that went well) and he said "I think so!" and started laughing.
So You Wanna Be A Rock and Roll Star (with Don Henley) - didn't get to it.
Was sad that SYWBARRS didn't make it, but I have not one complaint about this show. Stevie is BACK, my friends. I hope every single one of you gets to see her at some point on this tour. She's not been in this form in years - even The Dance and SYW don't compare. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself!!
Whew!! Sorry for the lack of detail on a few - I think I hit all the truly high points. It was just phenomenal.
