Okay - I apologize in advance for any incoherency... Just got in, but will write a few quick thoughts before I crash... Because there were SO many great moments....
First off: Stevie looked phenomenal. Stunningly beautiful - happy - her voice was perfect. I have not seen her like this in ages. She is in the best shape in decades. And all those people talking about her being skinny - holy crap. I don't know what that girl is doing, but she is teeny tiny. Especially in the pants at the beginning - she looks about 35. And she has the energy of someone half her age. And she just GLOWS. I could go on with a lost of adjectives, but suffice to say, she looked striking and gorgeous.
THAT is the greatest impression I will take away from this show. :)
The chemistry between Don and her was totally sweet - lots of smiling, hugging, slow dancing, etc.
Every single song was bang on - tomorrow, I will go through with details. Stand outs: Stand Back, SDMHA (this was amazing!!! I love the attitude she gives on the "stop draggin my, stop draggin my, STOP!!! (stop draggin my heart..) Yeah, yeah, yeah..." It just rocks live - much better than just hearing the boot.
BATB was beautiful. She looked stunning - took several pictures throughout on my phone - will see tomorrow how they came out.
Security SUCKED. Evil, evil, evil. Bree and I played musical seats all through the show, which ticked them off to no end :) but it was mainly to make sure we were positioned for Edge. And we were - and they DID let us rush the stage (thank GOD). So both of us got there, I shook her teeny little hand - I took her hand in both of mine, and she looked straight at me and smiled, and I said "thank you," and she nodded and said "you're welcome." And then she actually grapsed my other hand as she continued by, and then on her way back, I sort of held her arm just above her hand (she had the velvet gloves on - it was chilly in Detroit!!)
Anyway - it was awesome, incredible. I'm SO glad I saw this show - more tomorrow...
Hi to Bree, and Jill (Moonchilde) and Lisa (LittleCricket)... Hope you guys had as awesome a time.... :) :)

Jealous, jealous, jealous. Yet, another person who has touched Stevie. ;) She does look teeny in the pics I've seen. What is she doing?! Thanks for posting so late and can't wait to hear more tomorrow!

HI CAT!! Bree ,Lisa
OMG!!What can I say about the Detroit show that hasn;t been said.It rocked!! Sorry this is late in posting but just got home after spending 7 hours in Montreal airport..UGHHHH...Never again will I fly there!!
It was so great to meet you ladies..and I saw you seat hopping all night..lol
Can you believe the seats I had?? When security was walking us to our seats our mouths were like to the floor..3rd row pit..I mean I could just about touch the stage ..which i did ..hee hee ..I had a diehard Henley fan in front of me who wanted to dance the whole night long ..so when it was Stevies turn on stage...i hopped over the seat in front of me and the henley fan danced right along with me.!! What a amazing time we had..My daughters had a blast also and we had so much fun..we wore our Stevie outfits...LOL got lots of comments on my feathers....LOL..I never sat down all night..and the security guards for some reason were nice to me....maybe cause they saw me crying when she sang beauty and the beast..lol..or dare I say cause Im an oldie??but hey my hearts still young!!
One security guard said i could take pictures but the other said no..but then said if no flash..but i couldn;t get my camera not to flash..that and i was sooooooooooooo caught up iin the music..and the whole experience.I forgot all about my camera! The best part though...I GOT TO SHAKE STEVIES HAND TWICE!!!!!...I was right at the stage before she started edge and the security guy even moved over for me so I could get closer..Stevie shook my hand and took the rose I gave her.and then started to walk away with her back to me..I screamed out Stevie I love you!! and she turned back around and walked over to me again and shook my hand again and said Thank you so much.....I tell you I was so thrilled!!..Her hands are incredibly tiny! wow..
I had such a amazing time and wish the night could of went on ..
We were going to head to the Ritz after the concert to see if we could see Stevie but decided against it after we got lost in the parking lot..of DTE..lol...
after partying a bit with some other fans...I could kick my butt though for not heading there the next morning for STevie had brunch there..!! argghhh..
the last time i was there Stephen king was there at the table next to me having brunch..and both my daughters got picutres with him and autographs....my daughter's friend who works there did get STevies though.
Did I mention what a Awesome time we all had???LOL..
Don Henley rocked too..I really didn;t think I would enjoy him but I sooooooooo did..and his guitar player kept flirting with me...my daughters got a great kick out of that..Old mom still has it in her!! he hee...
It was great to see everyone having such a great time..even the old folks next to me were rocking..I felt so bad for the man who fell..and Stevie was so concerned about him..she kept her eyes on him and even mouthed to him if he was ok? You could really see the care and concern in her eyes from where I was sitting..
Well I just had to post about my SHAKING STEVIES HAND !! .lol I hope she comes to canada cause I am soooooooooooo there..

Hey Moonchilde,
Thanks for posting! I'm so glad you had such an awesome time at Detroit! I ended up going to Grand Rapids too (with StevieNicksEO17), and that was a surreal experience! We ended up seeing her in curlers in the hotel! I wrote a big long review about it w/ pics. I think it's still around here somewhere; the thread is "Best Grand Rapids review ever, complete w/ pics," or something like that.
Talk to you later! :blob2:

Wow ..wish I would of went to Grand Rapids too,,I toyed with the idea for a day or 2, but since my daughter's wedding shower was the same weekend ..well didn;t want to be in the dog house..lol..Just finished reading your review..great one and had some laughs with your signs..
Wish I would of been brave enough to have my camera out..I would kill to have one of me shaking her hand twice..I had such a great time anyway..My feathers got plucked.( ) though while I was dancing .
