Did anyone try and order the "Duets DVD" from Nitebird2005?

I figured for 15 bucks it was something worth checking out...

I sent payment via paypal...they said he wasn't registered...
I e-mailed him & he gave me another address to send payment to...
now paypal says the funds are unclaimed...

I e-mailed him & told him to forget it until he gets his act together...

because his/her sales pitch just coming outta the blue to post that the "Duets DVD" was for sale seemed a bit suspicous.

I hope other folk, Be it regular Ledgies or Lurkers, take heed and do not fall for any of those shenanigans...They always appear when a tour starts up.

I fell for it at first but was able to cancel my paypal payment after reading comments on this board. He has sold quite a few copies on Ebay. At first he accepted paypal payments but his current listing specifically says you must mail payment - no paypal accepted. His first sales occured around June 10th but there hasn't been any feedback left at this point to know if anyone received their DVD. The name he used in emails to me was Mel Flowers if that rings a bell with anyone.

Hope a legit copy eventually shows up.

I bought this but have yet to receive it......I paid through paypal so I am keeping a close eye on it because I will definitely report him if I don't get my DVDS!! And he did FINALLY accept my funds........

I am SO glad that I read the info. about this guy that all of you have posted, because I was seriously considering buying this DVD!

Let's hope a real fan managed to get a dvd and it will end up in the trade circles! :thumbsup:

He was selling on ebay too. He would NOT accept PayPal and now that all of the auctions are over...he is no longer a registered user.

By my quick calculations he sold 51 copies of either the Stevie set or the Don Henley set. No feedback yet on ebay so I'm not sure anyone actually received them. Interesting though, there is another seller (nineoutsleft) selling the same items and this persons location is listed as nationwide. This person will accept paypal but ONLY under their terms? :shrug:

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder, especially since I believe I paypaled him $21 on 06/13...I also got an email stating it was unclaimed, I emailed him again last and asked when he would be sending it out, he said this past Friday, we'll see...

Sorry I didn't answer any questions.... I was at the show last night--LONG day!! But anyways, truthfully--I haven't watched it yet!! It sounds pretty good--I did watch Hotel California--hard to see the pants though if at all......I can maybe give a little more info after I watch it..... I know Brad already commented on it a little......I would love to trade but I don't have a DVD burner--that was going to be my next expensive purchase until I heard Stevie was touring again--then I had to buy a new camera--which as you all know I'm unhappy with :( It got excellent reviews too--so sad!! Actually it is a pretty good camera--I just don't think it is good for concert pix...... any suggestions?? I'm open...... :lol: Just don't tell my husband--he will kill me :p This is my second (well actually 3rd!!) camera I've bought now--took one back.......but wish I hadn't!!
