I have read a few things about people in the back seats being upgraded to the main floor. Not a good sign for tickets sales.

Well, this is opening night... Not that great... But you could almost blame alot of it on not being organized in the beginning... They didn't know if they were coming or going at first!

I heard that for the Mansfield, Ma show only about 5000 seats were sold about 4 days before the show. I guess that is why they were giving a bunch of tickets away to residents.

Well, the Stevie solo shows are being advertised a lot out here in So. Cal. Lots of radio commercials, ticket contests, on all different kinds of stations too. I think she will do pretty well, at least on her own because now there has been time to advertise (at least here).

I am really surprised about the Mansfield show, Stevie used to sell that one out. The Enchanted show from 98 was fantastic. 5000 at the Tweeter Center WITH Don Henley?

That just can't be right. The place looked easily like it was about 90% full. Of course I'm not counting all of the obstructed view seats behind the stage. Still, that's an impressive chunk of change for a show with minimal production costs.

If the Gwinnett Arena was 75% sold tonight, I would be being generous. There were 2 huge sections on each side that were virtually empty, with tons of available seats all around the sides and the balcony. It was probably 2/3 sold...

I agree, I would have to say that Stevie will do much better on the solo shows...because for hardcore Stevie fans like me, I would care less to see Don Henley (no offense), but when I want to go to a Stevie show, I want to see STEVIE...all or nothing...and Vanessa as an opener I will make do.
And I also agree with the fact that her solo shows are being quite advertised...unlike the so-called "Two Voices" tour...I've seen a couple ads in the newspapers and contests and what not on the radio stations...
I even heard someone on the radio station a couple of weeks saying something along the lines of "hurry up and get your tickets, they are going fast folks..." so who knows

To quote the Billboard story from last week, "Thus far, sales have been strong, though sellouts are not widely reported."
I guess if they're termed "strong" in an industry publication, the tour is generally being regarded as a success...

Yeah really. Why her? I know she's now an FOS (friend of Stevie) but her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me (*shudders*).

There was 9000 tixs sold for pavillion seating at first at mansfield. this venue added 5 new sections of outside pavillion seating , which people arent willing to pay the price to sit outside in a seat if its pouring out, when they could of just bought a lawn seat for much much cheaper and could of at least use an umbrella. this venue, is suffering because of their new seating sections. the only thing recently that sold out there was the all day festival, tix were much cheaper and it was an all day event with many many young artists and lots of teeny boppers in the audienc. how do i know, lol, i took my god-child to it .lol. it was fun, because i love music but , you still cant compare these acts to the acts of the 60's and 70's that are still makin music. IMO.

I did notice that about 30 mins into the show the Gwinnett Arena was a lot more full..I would say more like 80% full at that point...I asked the guy at the box office how many tickets were sold so far, and he told me he didn't know but had been told that it was somewhere around 9000 at that point

Also they are lucky they are even selling as good as they are..considering the oversaturation of all markets by Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles..
Fleetwood Mac played Atlanta 3 times over 2003-2004 Philips Arena, Gwinnett Arena, and Chastain Park Amphitheatre..
Stevie had just played Atlanta twice in 2001...so I think considering how many of these people probably had just seen them, it's not bad

This is from a recent article
"Thus far, sales have been strong, though sellouts are not widely reported.
Both artists, though, have notable track records. Nicks' 2001 tour grossed more than $13.3 million, according to Billboard Boxscore, and was attended by about 295,000.
Henley's few 2004 solo dates grossed more than $2.8 million and were attended by more than 46,000. His March and April dates with the Eagles grossed $26.2 million and drew more than 266,000.
Kapp says that the ticket sales for the dates have, overall, "been doing fairly well."
http://www.detnews.com/2005/events/0506/17/E08-218277.htm
"Kapp says fans may not have seen the last of the pairing. "I wouldn't be surprised if we see this package again next year. I think first-time package tours like this will continue to be a trend in the industry."

That might have been the reason for the Mansfield show slow sales. The Eagles just came to Providence the end of March. Mansfield is only a half hour from Providence if that. Add that to the fact that good seats are going to cost $140.00 after all of the fees and you have empty seats.
