I was just thinking about how much Stevie's boots are such a part of her persona and how much I LOVE them. So, why not post your favorite pics of the, as skank Bobby Trendy would say, "Luxurious, Fabulous" boots of La Nicks.

That pic is the same shot that's at the back of the Boxset photo album thing... I think that's probably the best pic of the boots there is!

I think most fans go way too crazy over the boots. I guess I somewhat prefer them over over shoes but really I dont care all that much what shoes she wears.

All those pictures are soooo beautiful. When I look at them I think back at what the life Stevie must of had in a rock n roll band. She was so damn cute and sexy.

In viewing that webpage of pic after pic of Stevie in her boots, I am reminded why the Reeboks have come into the picture. Yeeeeeeeeeeoooooouuuch! (But, damn, they sure look good! :nod: )

Oh, wow! I had never seen some of those pics before. Gorgeous!

When I saw The Dance in Buffalo, I was a new fan & my seats were literally in the highest row of the entire arena (that show sold out in 40 minutes :eek: ) I could hardly see them, they were like ants on the stage. I remember 3 things clearly - Stevie was so caught up in spinning during Rhiannon that she forget where they were in the song & she came in late on the "dreams unwind" part; being so excited to hear Stand Back (I had no clue it was done live by Mac);

and the fact that she had on red boots with her black dress. They were so cool. :nod:

Jill, that page is AWESOME! I love how Chris also adopted those boots as part of her look for a while too. They both look beautiful in them. I personally like that Tusk tour photo (at the beginning of the page) where Stevie pairs the rust colored boots with the light colored, sky blueish dress (at least it looks blue from the photo). Gorgeous!!

I finally found some great boots. the heel is a little off, but this is the best, most affordable version I've seen yet.

I have a pair more or less like that, but with lacing up the front, and I absolutely adore them!
They make such a statement, they're my favourite pair of boots ever!
Now to convince my headmistress to make them part of the uniform....

yeah, I have a pair with lacing. but I can never get the lacing tied just right. it either cuts off my circulation or is too loose, plus I wanted a more plain pair.

I went out last night in stilletos (and, by the way, have never been hit on by so many lesbians before. twas flattering. one actually "faked" a stumble just to grab my waist.) and realized that I'd need some inserts if I was going to be on my feet again in Boston like I was in NYC for NOTS. I could barely walk to the cab after NOTS was over.

we don't give Stevie nearly enough credit for footing those boots for all these years. although I'm sure her boots are much nicer, quality wise, and formed for her foot and padded correctly, but still. I'm starting to rethink my hatred of the frankenboks. :lol:

At least the platforms give some padding between you and the ground; when i wear 3/1 inch or more boots, the balls of my feet kill, even with an insert. I have bony feet.
Even though those bots have a little more of a flare on the heel, I think it will make you a bit more stable, and that will be easier on your knees as well. They look good!

You might ask your shoe repair how much they charge for half soles. I have had those put on shoes with both plastic and with leather soles, and it makes them nice and grippy, but you can still dance.

Aaaaaaaaaah..................the mahogany ones just kill me. Definitely my faves. It was so great how she pulled them out for the Enchanted Tour. The OSOTM Tour pic from that page where she is wearing them is awesome!

two winters ago i found a pair of black suede platform boots,like the ones Stevie wears, and bought them without thinking. Up till now i have been able to wear them for 3 hours before having to admit that i'm not 18 anymore :laugh:
How Stevie manages to twirl around on those platforms is beyond me and i truly admire (and envy) her for it.

My guess is that there is actually some sort of cushion in the platform part to make the height easier on the feet.
