Hotels Close to DTE?...

Any recommendations on hotels near DTE that are a little on the cheap side and has a pool??
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, I've noticed no one has responded to you yet. I actually tried Orbitz, Travelocity, and Priceline, and the cheapest hotel I could find close to the venue was like $80 a night, and the closest I could find through those searches wasn't even in the same town as the venue (most were in Detroit or Auburn Hills, and the venue is in Clarkston). So I ended up just doing a google search for motels and Clarkston, MI, and I found a small, family-owned motel right in Clarkston where you can just take backroads from it to the venue (it's like, 3 turns and takes about 8 minutes); you don't have to get back on any expressways to get from the motel to the venue. Unfortunately, they only have 12 rooms and might not have any vacancies left, and I highly doubt that they have a pool. The bright side is the location and the fact that it's only $55 a night, and from what the nice girl on the phone told me, they're clean and quiet and most of their business comes from corporate and church groups.

Thanks so much Lisa Anne. If it was up to me, I'd definitely want to stay at that place-and I'd make an effort to see if they have any rooms open, but since I posted this thread, my stepdad decided he wanted something with a pool (for sure) and where their's other things for him and my 7 year old brother to do-so we eventually did find something. It is 45 min. from the venue, but it'll do. lol.

I appreciate you looking that stuff up for me though-I could always use it when I get my own license and see a concert there some other time :)
