This info was on the billboard site.

Hi Keith,

I heard that Stevie Nicks recently worked with dance duo Deep Dish on their forthcoming cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams." What's the scoop?

Daniel Matsumoto

Hi Daniel,

It's true, Deep Dish's new album, "George Is On," will feature a cover of Fleetwood Mac's No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, "Dreams." Even more interesting is that the band's Stevie Nicks will be singing on the track. Evidently, she enjoyed the demo that Deep Dish sent her and volunteered to sing new vocals for the track.

The album will be released July 12 via the Thrive label.

Deep Dish last reached the Billboard charts with last year's single "Flashdance." A semi-cover of Shandi's "He's a Dream," which was included on the soundtrack of the film "Flashdance," it reached No. 36 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart, and was also a top 10 hit on the U.K. singles chart.

Thanks for the info. I've been checking with my "sources" every day to see if this song is in anyway coming to us sooner than July 12. If I get my hands on it, I'll let you know.

That's cool... Thanks Daniel for asking.... I hope it's a single too... they've already released 2 singles from the forth coming album in the UK.. So there is a chance if there is interest in it...

So the vocal is new and she really did sing those high parts.

ehh. Well I wouldn't be surprised if she reached those high notes with some studio trickery.

I don't know. I mean, of course it's possible they helped her out.

But in the studio, perfect environment & temperature, well rested, relaxed, soft voice - I bet she may have hit them herself. Maybe not on the first take, of course.

I don't think studio trickery was necessarily involved. I think she's able to sing higher than she chooses to on stage.

Thanks for posting the info!

I would be so psyched if she could actually hit those notes now, in any setting... It's still possible, though, that they mixed old vocals with new.

Have you heard the clear version from the DVD bootleg? Honey had some definite help and it's obvious they brought her voice higher and sped it up to give it some kick. I quite like it, but the actual dance track sounds kind of amateurish.

I think it is Sharon, Jana, or Lori hitting that note. But, I heard it only in the arena, so I reserve final judgement until I hear it in a few weeks.

I think that is the girls on the "you'll know" at the end? Again, I heard it only once in Vegas and then on the boots, which were not that clear. So, I need to hear it again.

The one in the 5-11 torrent is pretty clear and I can't hear anyone but Stevie on it. I think it's just her with a little "help."

Listen to If Anyone Falls, too. I am so rolling my eyes at her intro that they're starting to ache.

IMO - the best IAF is the last night as that a capella harmony at the end is GREAT and seemingly not on the all the others - though I could be mistaken about that !!!!!!

It's all Stevie singing it... I'm sure there are some vocal modifications from the studio... but those are her high notes. I thought at one point that maybe she was singing along with herself from the original recording to get that youthful sound... who knows until we hear the actual track.

Stevie just sounds so cool on this remix. Love the new vocals.
As far as studio trickery on the high notes... it's really hard to tell from this.
To me, it sounds like she could be hitting them herself, without help... but who knows! Not that it's a sin if she didn't.

You are right!

Thanks for posting that!!!!!!

My fav. memory of this song was the oh so blonde gay porn star (literally) sitting a few rows in front of me dancing wildly if not frenetically to this and he just kept dancing after the music stopped - wonder why

I don't care anymore. I'm really excited about it getting released, hopefully as a single, but since I don't even listen to the radio anymore except for talk radio - I may never hear it. I'll buy it and love it when it comes out.
