Ok this is the concert venue I am going to next month in Grand Rapids... Floor 2 Row G will be the right section of the floor 7th row...and it's on auction for $799.00?!?!

Just for my mom and I going, we have the left section 5th row - it only came to $210...

I'm going to be watching this to see if somebody is going to actually buy it

Then I will find the ppl that bought them and laugh

Yeah, that's a lot of money, but it's for 4 tickets. I'm sure many of us have paid over $200.00 for a ticket before. It's not the most outrageous auction price I've seen.

Oh I thought it was 2 tickets not 4...
Still steep in price though...

I need to stop reading tonight...

Yeah, for SYW they were waaay high. The other day I saw 2 Tom Petty tickets for the Greek theatre (front row) that they were trying to sell for $1000. Lame. I had to pay a lot of money for my SYW ticket, which was unfortunate. :distress:

Yeah, weren't they like $175.00 or something like that? I can't even remember, but I know they were a lot. You know what I don't remember hearing on these forums before, anyone winning tickets to see them or Stevie. Once when I was about 17 I called a local radio station to request a Fleetwood Mac song. I had the station turned down at the time, and they answered and said "You're our --- caller!" And I was like "No way! What did I win?" And they said "What are you calling for?" I said, "Well, I was calling to request a Fleetwood Mac song" to which the person said "We're playing them right now" and hung up. To my horror, they were playing them because they were giving away tickets to see them! Of course when I know they are giving away tickets I can never even get through! I have to say I was kicking myself for the rest of the week, and I did stop listening to that station too. (Mostly because I moved) but still! :p

Oh, that's hella lame!!!!
Uh...I won SYW tickets and the reissue box set from the radio. For TISL tour, I won Stevie tickets off the radio. For that one, you had to sing a Stevie song, and the DJ judged who was best. He made me keep going, cause he said he wanted to hear the high part of Rhiannon...
I sold my SYW tickets because they were lawn. :D Oh, and I payed more than $175 for mine...

Amber..did you have front row? "IF" you had paid $175..and I know you paid more..that would have been piss ass cheap for a front row ticket. Prolly unheard of. I paid hundreds of dollars more than that for front row to the Borgata. That venue blows because of the comps.

Eight hundred for four tickets isnt really that crazy although I wonder if he will be able to sell them. I guess seventh row might be worth 200 to some people but not me. Plus, I am not sure this tour is selling well...I am still pulling up very decent and close seats for the first show in Philly on the side, elevated sections. For the AC solo show, I am pulling up the same rows as I did at the presale on Thursday...so I dunno if tickets are flying out of TM at a rapid rate.

I was thinking on the Vegas sold out thread about this topic. Why would it be so "Big" for Stevie to sell out Caesars for four days anyway? I know she didnt really sell out, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, but she only had a four night run and the venue is pretty small. Celine packs the place six nights a week. I would hope Stevie could sell decently for four nights.

Okay, I stand corrected...I went to look at the seating chart again for van andel, and Floor 2 is actually the center section, and it is 7 rows down...so I guess I can understand a little more *for 4 ticktets* why this is costing so much....still pricey? Yes, but that's ebay for ya...

The ones that burn me on eBay are the ones who sell tickets that they SAY are 1st row or 2nd row, but when you check, they are really 1st row of the second section (though they don't advertise that fact to the poor sucker buyer-to-be) or they are front row BEHIND the pit. An they are asking hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

Evil.
