OK, i know a lot of you here have sat in the very front rows and i was wondering how you went about getting those tickets? Did you use ticket master or one of those rip-off brokers? I've bought tickets for the last three shows here in philly and i can never get closer then 5 miles away it seems. PLEASE let me in on the good seats. THANKS!!

I've only been lucky enough to get front row tix to one show - and I took everyone's advice and it worked...
First off they never release the front row seats like the first day tickets go on sale - you just have to wait until closer to a show then religiously check TM....I did this and sure enough - a few weeks before a Fleetwood Mac show row1 popped up - I snagged it right up :D

I've done many routes...I got lucky for 9-7-03 Atlanta show, I just simply checked Ticketmaster and about a month before the show 2nd row tix popped up..
For Knoxville 03 I had 5th row, and someone posted here on the Ledge that a lot of good tix had been released on tickets.com (the Knoxville show wasnt sold through TM), and I grabbed them up...and because of the area and whatever other reasons, Knoxville tix were only $85 each for the top tix..
For Jacksonville 04 I paid $360 for two tix in the 3rd row from Ebay, and the venue ended up letting the first 3 rows stand at the stage, so I had FRONT ROW...
For Atlanta 04 at Chastain on the other hand I paid WAY too much, for tix not even that close from a broker...but I really wanted to see the Mac at a small little place, and the tickets were sold out BEFORE going on sale to the public (gotta love those season ticket holders!)..although they did release SOME on ticketmaster later, but nothing good

Waiting seems to work. I got 2nd row last year through the overpriced fan club package, but I met 2 people in the front row who just decided to drive down that day and try to get tickets. The only thing I noticed was that they didn't have any pairs of seats available, so if you are going to go alone you may want to take a chance and wait till the day of the show to get your tickets.

Also many ppl have scored great seats by risking it, and going to the box office the day OF the show...i saw a man in atlanta, walk right up and get 2 front row center, at 5:30 pm day of the show

chrisWow! That's crazy! I'm afraid to wait, y'all, because if the first two rows thing doesn't pan out, I'll probably be stuck with the worst seats! This may be the only time I see Stevie so I don't want to chance it like that. Also, I'll be one of three people going together, I'm sure, so that lessens the chances of getting seats that good all together, right?

I think the best thing to do is check TM as much as you can. I got 4th row for Atlanta last year through a broker and for the Jacksonville show I checked TM all day everyday, literally and ended up with 4th row and got to stand at the stage (next to Alex!) From my experience the closer to the show the better the tickets get, but you never know.

Ha! That could have been my husband and I! It was my third FM show on this tour and we just decided to go for it- was this is North Carolina by chance???

For Pittsburgh in 2003, I got tickets for the 2nd row two days before the show.
For Hershey 2004, I paid for front row from a broker because I was determined to make it to at least one front row concert with FM. It was worth every damn penny to be in the front row and have LB play his solo for "Come" right in front of me! I paid for that chance, and it worked and I have never regretted it!
My boyfriend went along to the Hershey show, and even though he is far from a FM fan, he said it was the best concert he had ever attended.

This will probably !never! happen again but I got front row to 4 shows last year. I waited a few days before the show and sure enough front row popped up. Previous to that I had bought regular seats and sometimes got stuck with what I had paid for those as well being unable to sell them. I was unable to get two seats together for a couple of the shows so my wife had a seat at the other end of the row but we stood up the whole time by the stage for a couple of the shows.
Sometimes, venues add seats to the front row in the last few days as well so it pays to keep looking.
Good luck!!!

And a couple of the shows it was just me, so it didn't matter about seats being together. I never worry about going alone because people including myself are so into Stevie-it doesn't matter if your there alone-of course, it may be funner with someone else but go for it.

Yup.. in Camden last year, they released the entire 4th row at about 630PM... i was actually able to upgrade my seats from 18th row to 4th row, with no extra charge.. Then when me and my friend got to our seats, the security guard said that if we wanted to, we could go to the front of the stage... so basically, we ended up with front row seats an hour before the show ;)

Some pretty good seats opening up on Ticketmaster tonight. All in the double letters. Right now GG section 2 is available if anyone is interested. Also Opening night has JJ centre available. Take a look anyone who still needs tickets. It would appear the second wave of good seats has just opened up.
What show are you talking about, Vegas??

Email Lis or Marty. Not that they can do a darn thing but no one has any right to tell you not to post about tickets. It is done all the time on this board...all throughout SYW people were posting when seats were released. That is how many of us got upgrades by fellow fans letting others know when better seats were released. The cattiness regarding certain things around here is crazy. If we all had that selfish mentality, no one would trade, no one would have share details of the tour not released to the public yet etc. You never should have deleted your posts...you violated no rules and provided helpful information to people who are still looking for seats for Vegas.

Ticketbastard sucks rotten eggs. Usually, the way to get better seats is to wait like this. However, that can be risky, you have to be prepared to get nothing. But usually something comes up. I was going to wait for my 10th show but I just have to be frugal that nite. Dammit.

No, they don't let you switch as a rule. I'm positive I'll be able to sell our Sect. 5 HH seats either through message boards to fellow posters or on Ebay. This is a hot ticket and those are pretty good seats. I'm sure we'll be able to get our face value back.

And now alone in my room
As I start to look for tickets
Am I so lame
Why am I always so damn lame
On ticketmaster i sit
The same site for hours
Well, I came all the way here
Just to sit here in 12th row!!!
I didn't ask when I got my seats
I always accepted what I got
As the best and the best only
Well it's not enough that i was there early
And it's not enough that i searched all day long
It's not enough to love Stevie
Because sometimes
You just get bad seats
Sometimes
You just get shit seats

Well, I never thought I'd see her play casino shows
I never thought she'd ever go that way
She wants everything she touches these days
To turn to gold
But if you fell for the presale
Them were some shit tix you were sold...
For her...it's the only life
That she's ever known
Now the Henley tour is only a few weeks away
Even though she has to deal with Vegas and Glenn Frey
It's alright
The checks will still clear
Even after the marquees fade
(I know I'm not going to Vegas, but I can't pass up an opportunity to do my beloved parodies)

Well, I heard she flew out to Caesar's Palace
Amber says, "That's not what I heard, I hear she cashed the checks first"
She depended on the Ledgies to tell her to wear colors
To change the setlist...this is Diss talking to yoooooooooooou
Old songs had no charm...
Buried beneath that mob widow dress- or a wretched Reeblech
She carries...Remifemin in her garter, along with everything else...

YAY!!! Dissention is in on the action. I'm too tired to come up with anymore. I was totally supposed to go out tonight to see a band called Hot Little Rocket. A band with a name like that has to be good! But I'm so lame. I'm so lame. I'm so lame! TOTALLY!!! I'm so la-hame! I'm so la-hame!...

There was no better seats to be found anywhere in sight
In the first rows
She had looked everywhere but the only tickets left online, were the 12the row

And the tickets there well they were amazingly

What I wanted to get for me
Some seats in the fourth row
Or some seats in the third row
Up close to Stevie... Nothing else matters!!!
Okay, I couldn't resist!

I saw the Mac from 12th row and I did feel like I needed to be closer but they were still good seats. Just too far away for pics which I wanted to take. Make sure you have some binoculars. You can use mine cuz I'll be close up. (No Suze did NOT just say that!)
I got to move up toward the end of the Mac show though, much to the chagrin of the folks that had those rows, but I was in the aisle, hello? No one bought the aisle, geesh.

Where are you sitting Suze?
Did you come all the way here
Just to sit in the fourth row?????!!!! (a la Fall From Grace)
So, I officially want to gouge me eyes out. Yesterday, I was on the phone with a client and tickets for Willie Nelson went on sale when I was on the phone with her. So, I was opening up a file and it was gonna take a while. So, while the file was opening, I popped over to ticketmaster just to check expecting the usual crap to come up like when you first start your search. Up pops 4th row on the floor. Remember I was on the phone with a client so I was "multi-tasking" or whatever lame "business babble" word you want to use. Somehow in the process of talking to my client and me trying to pretend I wasn't having a stroke over how good the seats were, I managed to hit SEARCH AGAIN instead of BUY. So, I lost them! And now, absolute crap is all that's coming up!!! Whether you are a Willie Nelson fan or not, I'm sure you guys can understand my pain. Losing on out of control good seats for a performer you love!!! LAAAAAAAME!!!!! Just checked and it's like second balcony. GAWD!!! Does the rule of waiting it out tend to work even for large venues? I will be persistent but there's no way I'm going to get that kinda gold again.

I've made a pact with myself that I will NOT buy better tix unless they're the front row. 6th row & 10th row are nothing to sneeze at, and I'm not spending more $$$ unless it's for the absolute top seats.
I'm at work, bored, so...
We see no change in sight
Checking for better seats
On Ticketmaster online
We've done it a thousand times
If you get tix in the back rows
You won't see the stage well that night
The seats that you want
The ones that are hot
Are kept til close to show night
Ticketmaster...won't agree
Everyday they tell me
Ticketmaster...won't agree
We know they have them
Every time they have them
They say they don't have them
What can I say
We can't find them
We can't buy them
I have found them, some of the time
Anyway we can
Anytime we can
Get good seats
Get good seats........
.......When no one finds good seats
At least not together
They rarely come out
We spend every day
Waiting for the day
The good seats will
COME OUT!
Don't you know
Don't you know.
