It appears that many of the Ledgies are heading to Vegas. Is this the first Ledgie Convention? Has there been any other events/concerts in the past where this many have shown up? Should we make T-Shirts and buttons? Commemerative mugs? :D Ledgies In Las Vegas Pins?
Just wondering.....

I would buy one too. Have not yet met many other ledgies yet, however , only a few in Atlanta last year.

Yes, I really think we should have buttons. I have been thinking about this! Who would like to design one? We could have folks come up with ideas and then pick what we like best. I'll be coming up with something myself so long as my dain bramage stays back and I remember. :woohoo:

I? Am the most un-artistic person. Ever. So not I. But I'm sure someone could come up with something. I'd be willing to contribute to the button fund.

How about buttons, and maybe a mini-poster that everyone could sign with their screennames and real names? OOH sign with different colored sharpies - silver, gold red, blue...... Suitable for framing. (You can get sigs at all the events...NOTS...Concerts etc.) (Maybe get Stevie herself to sign it sometime  ) :D Or maybe get an photo of everyone there at the top of the Stratossphere with the lighted strip behind us and have everyone sign it. (One hour photo).? Just brainstroming. Any other ideas?
Ooh a ledgie Ledger book for photos and sigs........(Okay I will stop)

I like the photo thing best. easy to get, easy to copy.
Oh, and may I add, it's way better to have a visual to actually remember everyone by. way better. the best. and the cheapest. way cheapest.

Sounds like a plan. I know there's a couple of places who do 1 hour photos on The Strip.

Maybe if we got a big enough suitcase we could smuggle you in? Can you fit in a pet carrier and make cat noises? Wish you could make it.

If we want to do the picture idea, we need to find the night when everyone will be there. Wednesday? Tuesday? I am obviously going to be around any old night. But with all the coming and goings we should figure out a night.

I was wondering about that too. It would be nice to have something we could wear to identify each other when we're out running around town. Several years ago, some online Stevie fans identified each other at a concert by wearing white roses on their lapels. Also, the Nicksfix had a pin template you could print out and use for the Enchanted tour.
Hey, I designed a quickie-type pin thing using Paint, but I don't know how to attach it to this post. Can someone tell me how?

I don't know if you can do it on edit, so hit post reply, then type something in the body of the message, scroll down a bit. Click Manage Attachments (it's a bit below submit reply). Then choose, select the file you have of the pin. Click open. Click upload. Then once that is done, click submit reply. Make sure your file is in one of the approved formats first: "bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip"

Well phooey. It keeps telling me the file is too big. It only allows 100kb? And my bmp is 108kb. That's pretty small! If I make it any smaller it won't look good at all. {sniff, sniff}

Um... could you email to someone who knows how to add it to the signature? (I don't know how to do that either)
Or maybe we could all wear "L"'s for ledgie on our clothes and go for the Laverne look from the sitcom Laverne and Shirley? :D

I'll volunteer to take the Ledgie photos with my camera. I can just use my digital and go to a CVS or something and pop my card in a voila a photo. I would get an 8x10 print, however. Of course I am sure that we could ask a waiter or something to take a group photo so that I can be in it.

I agree about the rose/button/"L" idea - we should put something on to signify that we're Ledgies.
As far as the photo goes, would anyone else like to get one at the top of the Stratosphere at night after a show either Tues or Wed? I would for sure.

I would be up for it. BUT what time does it close or does it? I also want to eat after the show. :D

Oh, I'm all about eating after the shows (so are the other people I've talked to.) Margaritaville (Flamingo) serves food until 2 or 3am, so does Nine Fine Irishmen (NYNY), Monte Carlo Pub & Brewery (Monte Carlo) & several other places.
As far as the Stratosphere, I believe you can go to the observation deck until midnight, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I haven't been able to find out the specific hours. Perhaps we can meet outside the venue right after the show, go to Stratosphere, take some pics & then head out to eat? Another idea is do Stratosphere during the day on Wed, but I personally think it's so much better at night with everything lit up.
EDIT: according to vegas.com, it's open until 1am weekdays, 2 am weekends.

Cool, hopefully we can catch a few cabs and head up there get the photos done and then eat. I know that CVS is open 24 hours but it is on the other end of the strip. I also don't know if the photo is 24 hrs. I know that here in RI they are starting to open the photo labs 24 hr in some 24 hr stores.

Count me in for the top of the Stratosphere!! I don't mind if we eat before or after the show... we will probably have stuffed ourselves at some buffet for dinner.

OK, we'd probably have to set up 2 different things, since most of us are not able to stay for all 4 shows.
Since I'll be there for the first 2 shows: Tues & Wed peeps - would you rather do the Stratosphere pic Tues or Wed?

I would only be able to do the Tuesday Stratosphere pic unless the Wednesday pic is early because our plane leaves at 8pm.

Maybe we should meet up just before the show and head on over to Ceasar's following the pic. Between Ceasar's and Stratosphere there are a couple places where we could drop the stuff off to be developed and then have them ready once the show is over. Just a thought.

My only thought was it looks so much cooler at night. Not a big deal though - it's not like the view sucks ass during the day or anything. :D
It sounds like either Tues after the show or Wed before the show would be best to make sure most everyone can make it.
