From NicksFix:

Question 129 - from D. Stahli in Pittsburgh:
Do your Dogs travel with you wherever you go?

Stevie's answer:

Yes! They go wherever they are allowed. When we were touring Europe and Australia they had to stay home! It was terrible!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 128 - from Kathi in Gainsville:
How do you readjust your life with the absence of life on the road with Lindsey, Mick and John for such a long time?

Stevie's answer:

It’s difficult! You just have to get used to it, but it takes a while!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 127 - from Maz in Sydney Australia:
Stevie, thank you so much for coming back to Australia. We followed you from state to state and had the best time. Any chance of you coming back for a solo tour?

Stevie's answer:

Hopefully! It’s already being discussed!

Discussion of another solo tour? :blob2: :blob1: I hope there have been discussions concerning a solo tour in the U.S. as well as Australia.

 Something about that last line just cracked me up...When you see her in concert, will you bring a huge sign reading:
What were you saying in Seven Wonders? "Never?"

Aww...let's not nitpick too much...she could have answered the aforementioned questions in one/two word answers...

1. Mostly.
2. Cardboard cutouts.
3. Maybe.

Hey, any interaction she can give us, i'll take. I think it's pretty cool. Now, if the questions were a bit different...that'd be nice...but clearly we're not the ones whose questions are being answered.

A solo tour has already been discussed?!? :blob2: It makes me hope the work on the album is going very very well . I wish she will come in Europe too, or I'll have to come over there to hold Amber's sign.

But after visiting Europe with Fleetwood Mac, I'm hopeful she would want to come here again soon. We have great archeological, historic and shopping sites, great weather (especially in Italy :D ), French movies and perfumes cost less, nice trees under which she can write for hours her journal, on a previous visit (I think it was in Europe) she didn't speak the language but somehow she knew that that would be the only time that she could be alone and foolish (with a mysterious someone that she could bring along or find here a new one ;) )... who would resist?

Nah.... I don't buy it. I don't believe it was ever intended she came over here. Even if she hadn't got sick there wouldn't have been enough time. And there was zero publicity for TISL before she got sick too. There wa\s tons of publicity before she toured here with TOSOTM

The 'TISL' tour shirts, and I believe the tourbooks as well, all said "World Tour" on them. I truly do believe she intended to tour Europe.
But, perhaps her health problems and 9/11 were not the reasons it fell through, as we have assumed in the past... maybe the plans fell through during the booking process, and then weren't pursued any further after the year's events unfolded.

Either way, I do think it was her intention to tour Europe... at least briefly... for 'TISL.'

But that doesn't make sense with no promotion what so ever over here. And she certainly isn't 'well known' over here compared to in the States. Promotion would have been necessary

Perhaps to Stevie, Gone With The Wind's "Tara" is a seventh wonder? At any rate, she totally says Tara. I mean, she does have an obsession with that movie. Besides, it's beautiful and it's the poet that she is. You wouldn't ask Bob Dylan to take out his random word...

I'm sorry, i still can't believe people think she says that. when i'm watching her lips in the video, i'm like "oh, yeah, nevah". And then there is the tie in with "I'll nevah live to see the beuteh" and of course, the line "if our paths, nevah cross, well, oh, well i'm sorreh but" - And to me the whole meaning of the song has a "never" vibe. I just really never ever thought she was saying anything but nevah, and god bless you'all if you turn out to be right, but until then i nevah will. :wavey: That was a nice try to bust out that argument of "it's the poet that she is" Also? I just broke out my Tango DVD in hopes that it would give me some solid evidence one way or the other, but I was disappointed to hear that she doesn't even do that in that performance. They just skip over that. I think that's evidence that she didn't even remember what she was saying when they recorded it, so she opted for just not doing it at all.

hey all ... iknow i dont post very often but i always get a kick outta the antics that go on around here!!!!!! i have been tempted to put my two sense in many times on this topic........ i belive its "TARA" that she is saying in the seven wonders song. i read somewhere that the TARA and when she says all the way down to emmaline are her added lyrics.. and she explains why she added them. ill try and find the interveiw or site that i read it from. and too, all the lyrics say TARA...
~S~
Wait, what? what lyrics? No one else has been able to find lyrics. But if you find that article, i will definitely be forced to eat crow. I read she added emmeline, too, but not anything about Tara. Other people have cited the emmeline thing, too. Actually, if no one on the board here so far has found concrete evidence, it probably doesn't exist. I sweah, some people here have everything. Good luck! :wavey:

Yes. There is no "N" sound at the beginning. :wavey:This is a trip. I went back and played it all loud on my stereo, and at this point, I really feel like it can be any of the above mentioned possibilities. Every time I listen to it, I hear something different! If I expect "Nevah" that's what I hear. Same goes for "Tara." I'm starting to think it's whatever you want it to be! (Hey, isn't that what we predicted Stevie would say in her Q&A if she actually answered that one?)

But let's never find out for sure. It's so much funnier if Krista and Amber debate it.

um, but she says nevah 8 other times in the song she is already singing. in Seven Wonders. You know, in the same song? hello? hello everyone?
I'm sure you are all right, i'm sure it is Tara. :wavey: I mean, if all of you already know she says never in the song 8 other times, and that provokes no logical conclusion that she is saying never in the bridge, well, that many people can't be that delusional, so it must actually be Tara. That's really the only solution. :wavey:

I always though it was "ever" becuase that works for for with the companion lyric "I live to see the seven wonders" - in other words "If I [ever] live to see the . . . ." I must be really crazy, because I've always thought she was singing "era..." It's not a hard "T" sound, no... but I have always been certain she's chanting "Tara" there.

Whatever it may be, the word she is singing sounds like "air-ah," and doesn't sound like "ehv-ah."

The thing is though... whether Stevie is a master of pronouncing things correctly or not... the word she chants there has an "r" in it, not a "v."

If you're looking for precedence, listen to the way she says "never" everywhere else in the song... you can hear the "n" and you can hear the "v."
But the word she chants after the chorus clearly has an "r" sound in the middle, even if the first letter isn't entirely clear.

See, okay, so I listened to the song like, 10 times. Now, quite frankly i'm not sure that she's saying anything at all. I sang along to it and sort of mumbled when I came to that part and honestly, I can't be certain anymore that it's "Tara," "Sara," "Ever," "Never," etc. Sometimes I hear an "O" sound at the first set she sings and then later in the song, I hear an "A" sound at the end of whatever it is that she's saying. The song was written by Sandy Stewart and Stevie did provide additional lyrics. Perhaps to make it her own, she threw in some Tara's a la Welcome To The Room... but I still can't be sure. I think she might be saying "never.......ever..." but the more I listen to it, the more i'm thinking she's not saying anything that we think she is. Isn't there a program for a computer where you can take out certain parts of the song and hear it more raw? Maybe then we'd be able to figure out wtf this is.

In Timothy White's Rock Lives, Stevie recounted the following...

"But these kinds of mystical accidents just happen to me all the time. The first song I gave to Tango was a demo my good songwriter friend had played for me called 'Seven Wonders.' I gave the tape to Fleetwood Mac at a Halloween Party in L.A., to plant a seed, and when it came time for me to sing it live in the studio, I was somehow inspired to sing very different words that instantly transformed the song for all of us. In 300 subsequent takes, I could never sing those unwritten words of mine again, and the original live version we luckily preserved became the second hit from Tango!"

I have a feeling one of those unwritten words was never/ever/tara/sara/bella/era/aaron/pharaoh/farrah/harrah's. ;)

Quick question of my own for everyone submitting questions about "Seven Wonders" to 'Ask Stevie'.... are you being specific in regards to exactly which lyric we're questioning, or are you just asking the basic, "What are you saying in 'Seven Wonders'"?

If it's worded similarly to the latter, then it would seem we're asking a general question about the lyrics for the entire song, as opposed to just the little ad-libbed chant after the choruses.

Hopefully everyone's being specific!!! :D

 Dude -you're totally not alone - when this "debate" first started I was like..."hmmm I never noticed anything in Seven Wonders..." So just the other day I dragged the song out...and I was like..."OH! They're talking about the 'helllooo.." part" lol..

So no - I always just thought she was saying hello....you're not alone...
Isn't it sort of cheesy to say "Hello!" in a song?

*Quietly slips in the discussion*

I had never noticed the 'never/ever/tara/hello/pharaoh' part in 'Seven Wonders' before... I always thought she wasn't saying anything, just mumbling. At any rate, I would think never or ever would make more sense to the context of the song. Pharaoh also sounds plausible, but I can't hear it.

Maybe she was trying to get some mystery into the song... Or was justplain making up words.
