I don't know if it's officially on the copyright of the song, but I just had to throw in that Phil Everly also contributed to this song.....

Hey, Waddy is a minor guitar legend (not quite Page, Hendrix or Lee status, but..) so don't diss him! :D I only wished he hadn't ditched me and my friend at the TISL show in Santa Barbra. He said he would try to get us backstage for the meet and greet after the show and he never came to get us. BOOHOO!! Waddy... you owe me one. :D

Regardless of what he wears, he'll still look like the night clerk of a roach motel.

Adam Sandler performed Werewolves of London off the Warren Zevon Tribute CD that is just out. There were, what, 3 guitarists on that song? Adam was okay, but I think he should stick to his day job. Waddy looked like he was having fun. And I think Letterman is impressed with him because he singled him out after the number "... Mr. Waddy Wachtel!!" and he said it with great gusto! What a host Mr. Letterman is. Waddy was wearing all black; jeans, shoes, suit jacket and tshirt that had some white lettering on it. It's his hair and those glasses. He has never changed his hair style or the John Lennon glasses that are getting thicker by the year. Wonder how old he is now. Hey man, I would so love to spend an afternoon jamming with him... I bet it would be fun, but then I'm totally into music, I don't care what the person "looks" like. Rock On Dude!

He always singles Waddy out whenever he's on the show. I don't think they're close friends or anything, it's just that Waddy's played with so many people over so many years & Dave always acts surprised that he's still playing as great as ever.

:D What was it that he said when Stevie was on in 2001?? Something to the effect that Waddy has played with every musician... Regardless, I thought it was hilarious, but it could just be because it was one of those "It's funny because it's true" comments...
