Thought this was kind of an interesting sighting. I was listening to Delilah at work tonight (I'm at work right now in fact)

And they talk and talk requests and dedicate and all, I'm sure you all now. We have to keep it on this station because it plays all Christmas music. Anyway some 10 yr. old girl called and was saying how she appreciates her family..and Delilah said "Is there a particular song you want to hear?"

And the 10 yr old said "Silent Night by Stevie Nicks"

I was like WTF?

And Delilah said "that's one of my favorites."

My little sister is 10, and her big sister inadvertently brainwashed her. She does everything Stevie does...even Rhiannon possession and the EO17 growl. Scary but cute, huh?

She is a little sappy - but I like her and people seem to get alot from her advice. So, I am THRILLED to hear about the La Nicks sighting. Also, she plays Landslide (Dance version) every now and then :cool:

I walked into Best Buy tonight and it came one just as I walked in O_o It's also on heavy rotation on the radio stations here. I love it.

I can honestly say I have never heard it anywhere but coming out of my speakers. It seemed like The Eurythmics and The Pretenders got lots of airplay (still do) but I am glad Stevie is getting played somewhere. I f*cking love Stevie's take on Silent Night, but I've had co-workers who shudder every time they hear it. I forget she has that effect on some people until I see it, and them I'm like "WTF is wrong with you people?". Unfortunately they are often asking the same of me! :shrug:
