The summer vacation episode - during the last 15 minutes, part 4, summer breakups (and I don't think was meant to be slam, just to illustrate their differences) - Henry Rollins says that he had a girlfriend for 2 years and in the summer of 1979, he discovered punk rock. She was into Stevie Nicks (clip of Stand Back is shown) and he got into the Sex Pistols, so they had to break up. :p
I'll post the rerun times in a second, for all the freaks like me who just have to tape every little snippet on TV. :wavey:

Damn, I keep meaning to watch this show & I've missed both episodes so far. I guess I'll try to catch it on one of the 3000 reruns it's bound to be on.

Be careful! You might miss it. They only show it on days ending in "y".
Thanks Livia for the head's up. I'll be on the lookout for it.
You all owe it to yourselves to check out Henry's spoke word stuff. It is truly outstanding. He at least to admits as to how full of B.S. he, himself can be about all the macho and punk stuff. He often opens up softer, more vulnerable sides of himself in his spoken word. He also can give an objective glimpse into the male psyche, for the good and the bad of it. Be sure to check out a bit called "The Undoing of a Man". I am unsure on which of his recordings it is on, but I can tell you this.....don't drive while listening to it, you may lose control of the car. I don't want to give any clues for fear of spoiling it....it's a killer-diller. He also has a bit where he gets shown up by Sheryl Crow, but he at least has the stones to admit it....also a riot.

I love it! Henry Rollins and his dry, sarcatic sense of humor. I'm sure it's not a slam, oh no, I'm sure.. ;) :wavey:

I did catch the "Metal Head" one (ahhh, the memories...), and part of the "Hippy" show. I missed most of the "Gay" one, but what I saw was pretty funny.
