The past few Ask Stevie questions have actually been quite good with some really good answers from Stevie, but this latest batch of 3
Question 126 - from Jeffrey in LA:
Will you being doing a New Year's Eve Show?
Stevie's answer:
Not this year….
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 125 - from Sonny G. in Jefferson, WI:
What is your favorite scary movie?
Stevie's answer:
The Haunting of Hill House
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 124 - from Ammie in Hamilton, Ont., Canada:
Hi Stevie! :)
I'm A Teenage Fan Of Yours! I Was Wondering If You Needed Another Backup Singer?
Stevie's answer:
Not right now, but I’ll keep you in mind!
Seriously could that idiot John Kinney do a better job of filtering what questions reach Stevie. I mean it's kind of intresting to hear what her favorite scary movie is and that's a stretch, but Do you Need a freaking backup singer, because I really would like to be one. That make sme want to throw up. You can't blame Stevie for the SH*T this guy is sending to her.

The haunting of hill house? that movie was not scary at all. The only good thing about it was the special effects. The book was 10 times better, as they usually are.

I think she's referring to Shirley Jackson's version from '63. :woohoo:

And how unfortunate that three retarded questions begat three retarded answers.
Stevie, oh Stevie, why can you babble away to interviewers and talk show hosts and magazine journalists (the very people who are so ruthless to you sometimes) about holes in your nose you could fly Don Henley's learjet through, and menopausing on tour, and even occasionally such "easy target" fodder like "I married my best friend's widower" (say "I married an ax murderer", less eyebrows would raise!), but can't open your heart (and your mouth) to those of us who have lived like paupers so that we could spend all our $ on you. Our money in your pocket, patrons of your art if you willl, to maintain your rock-n-roll ballerina lifestyle. And yet you throw us crumbs, as if it's part of your High Princess duties to acknowledge the commoners (BUT NOT TOO MUCH!) by answering our Q's (only breif ones that don't thought provoke) with your A's (extremely short so as too avoid risk of carpel-tunnel in your typing/tamborine hand!)
And I'm just being sarcastic guys!!!

I don't think it is Stevie answering some of them. The webmaster most likely answered the New Years Eve and backup singer question. Hello? Anyone knows the answer to those questions! So he most likely answered the obvious ones (No you can't be a back-up singer! And if I had a New Years tour I would have told you by now!) So some of them are most likely answered by him. Obviously the movie question is not something her can just pull out of his ass though... so she must have answered that one or he knew she liked that movie from previous experience.

no doubt the "questions" are filtered and of those choices are made to respond, what i find interesting is there are those who had/have waited quite some time for activity on the "ask stevie" page and once she has provided, allbeit tredding lightly, peeps complain as to the content. perhaps they would finally be pleased with a personal letter from ms.nicks in response to the "questions" typed...particularly those of questionable content umhum
hawkeye, IMO, your wordchoices are of particular concern: retarded/idiot
let's try keep in mind that those who have received responses may have hurt feelings by these words, and what may appear as a "lightweight" question to some could be of particular headiness to another. thanks.
i am thankful for john and hardly would refer to him as an idiot. he has provided a well read/loved site for stevie fans and anyone who thinks otherwise is well an... hehe

Some of those who have gotten responses have asked retarded questions :xoxo: plain and simple. I don't think we should be satisfied that the ask stevie thing is getting activity now. I don't recall ANYONE cmplaining that it wasn't running. I would actually prefer her to get her album out quickly, but I'd also love to hear from her and here her answer questions like she's doing. But why should I praise John Kinney for letting an IDIOTIC question like can I be your back up singer, I'm a teen aged fan look at me, aren't I cute, it pisses me off, and I don't care If I offended whoever asked that question.
For me, Stevie makes up for her lackluster Q and A with her personal letters she writes, and the things she writes to the troops, her last one being the best yet. luckily JK can't "filter" her letters to the troops.

I had nevah (hahaha) thought of pharoah until I read it on The Ledge. I was like "no way" & then the vid came on VH1 Classic one day & it's definitely a possibilty.

Because if they aren't trite and topical, they won't be answered. Good questions are never answered, only trivial ones so that she (or her assistant) only has to give a response of two or three words and a multitude of dots.

Stevie doesn't give bad answers because she gets bad questions- I know because I consistently send in good questions! And I did see a review once about fansites that gave a pretty glowing review of the Nicksfix. And really, are any of us really able to be objective enough to know? We are a bunch of kooky diehard geeks-I mean look at the time spent on the dissertations of whether she says Tara, Pharoah or Sara in the middle of Seven Wonders!! Even casual fans may not really even remember that song.

Well, I did rock out the black bike shorts, side ponytail, etc. I remember this one outfit. The black bike shorts had a neon pink stripe on one side and neon green stripe on the other so I'd wear these socks to match the sides. I don't think my little white Keds had matching laces. Don't forget the side ponytail had to have neon pink and green scrunchies. I was cute back then.
