I was up on the original press release when KOCH bragged about Christine being on their label. Thing is, they did say the US release would be in early July then strangely enough about the time of it's UK release KOCH decided to push the US and CANADA dates all the way back to September 7. Two months! Something in my gut tells me they aren't all that hot on it now. There's no press or promotion of any kind here that I have seen.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I was looking at amazon.uk's site and sadly enough this elegant woman's cd is ranked 1,058 in 6 weeks of release. I think that's a disgrace and a tragedy that Christine's album is being this overlooked, for whatever reason. I sincerely hope that in the US it will do better but I'm not holding my breath. Seems people only want Fleetwood Mac and preferably Stevie Nicks, but for me, any day of the week it's Christine McVie!

Sorry for going on a tangent here but alot of the time the record buying public just amazes me.

Me too. I agree. I've always found it amusing when I've heard people refer to Christine as the "other woman" in Fleetwood Mac, because I've always thought of Stevie Nicks as the "other woman" in the band.

Me three. She even had the majority of hits, yet takes a backseat to that monotonal(now anyway) woman(while Chris' voice is still as beautiful as it's ever been!)

I just looked at amazon uk again and Christine's album has jumped 367 positions all the way from 1,058 to 691, in one week! This is good news. Why it happened I can't explain, other than that people may be discovering this gorgeous album. :)

After your post yesterday, I checked Amazon U.K. & it was in the 300's at that time. I think it jumps around quite a bit. In The Meantime hasn't disappeared. Hopefully, over time more people will discover it, especially all those older fans who bought the Dance album but didn't care for Say You Will. :)
