She performed "Sara" on the Tusk documentary!!!!

I just watched it again and it STILL makes my eyes well up with tears. Her delivery is flawless- just on the verge of breaking down, yet you can clearly tell she is enraptured by that song. The smiles (all genuine and spontaneous), the inflections, that red shawl/wrap  and most of all..... THAT HAIR!!!!!

The end of the song gives me gooseflesh and makes my eyes well up to the max!

Any other instances when all that is Stevie comes together to create that charisma/beauty/grace/awesomeness that is heavenly, uniquely her?

I think the acoustic performance of "Gypsy" at the AHI Benefit with Lindsey and Waddy qualifies. Holey shit, was I bawling during that one!!!

 :blob2:

I don't mean to be tacky, but I think this picture represents everything I find beautiful and attractive about Stevie:

I think she was most beautiful in the videos for Seven Wonders, Hold Me, Little Lies, and the Gold & Braid HBO concert performance. In that order.

I think she is the most beautiful when she sings "Gypsy" in the Mirage video. My all time favorite performance by her.

AMEN!!!!!!!! I saw it first years ago on LASER DISC  I died. I thought I had see the end of all things  - "like a painting"

I thought she was beautiful in the Mirage video AND while the voice was enchanting, to this budding first tenor I wept for what it was  I loved it and it moved me (how could it not  ) but it was so painful to hear, esp. a few years later when my first tenor became impossible to sing thorugh my own excesses

The AHI acoustic Gypsy though - SHEEBUS - sex on a stick

I think Stevie was at her most beautiful during Silver Springs on the Dance video. It's easy to pick beautiful, younger moments of someone, but when you are in your fifties (or maybe late forties at that time?) and are still able to display that much grace, charisma, and emotion and just look radiant doing it, now that's a feat of nature. Stevie defies the laws of aging and I love her for it.

I think she was the most beautiful in the Everyday and Sorcerer videos. :)

And during the Dance. Oh, and during her performance of GDW during the "Sheryl Crow and Friends" concert in 1999.

I'm quite a fan of "mature" Stevie :)

Stevie was at her most beautiful during Leather and Lace on the HBO special. Watching her in that never fails to make my temperature rise.

AND - she was stunning in the Destiny Rules doc when her and Lindsey were alone together working on Goodbye Baby. I had to stop and compose myself; she was unbelievably gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, it's obvious that she was touched-up during that scene, but I don't care, she was still hot as hell.

Hella yeah!

That "Good-bye Baby" section was the best part of the doc IMO.

Holey shit, yes!!! The "Seven Wonders" video is prime-beef Stevie at her finest.

I always loved when during the HBO "Gold and Braid" when she chucked that gigantic tambourine away to grasp the microphone.

The shots of Stevie in the grey & white in Seven Wonders are the best.

And when I listen to G&B on Enchanted or Next Stop:Main Road, I know exactly when the tambourine gets thrown. Memorable moment.

I am a fan of "mature" Stevie as well but she was very beautiful in the Gypsy video. I especially like the rain scene and of course the dancing with LB part. In recent years, I thought Stevie looked beautiful on Storytellers, especially After the Glitter Fades. She just looks stunning in red! Also, in the IYEDB video with Sheryl, she looks hot and confident. She also looks great on the ShangriLa cover and all the photos that were taken during that shoot with Neil Preston. I usually like her hair straighter but damn she looks good in that peach dress with the wind blowing.

One more...I agree Dissention, that GB scene just gave me goosebumps. She looked stunning. I am not sure what it was, maybe the song she was singing but she had this aura about her during that whole bit on the Doc. It was only there on the Goodbye Baby part. Her voice, the words, combined with her beautiful skin, eyes and hair just gave me the shivers. My favorite part of the whole documentary!
(well that and the photo shoot for the SYW cover...adjust package!) LOL

The way Stevie looks in the "If Anyone Falls," "Seven Wonders," "Rooms On Fire" and "Every Day" videos, never fails to take my breath away. :)

She's perfection on 'Storytellers,' too.

I still like two of her looks more than the others - first, the 1975-77 ones (Fleetwood Mac/Rumours). Perfect hair, precious smile. And second, the Trouble In Shangri-La look. Again, perfect hari, precious smile... She just looked damn hot on those pictures.

I thought she was stunning in Storytellers.....and I love the TISL era, too.

Yup, in the Goodbye Baby section of DR she looked stunning.

The "Hold Me" and "Gypsy" videos.

Stevie looks beautiful all the time to me. I guess the moments that take my breath would be: (1) Her singing "Rhiannon" on Midnight Special, (2) On The Dance, when she is singing "Silver Springs," (3) In the "Hold Me" video, when Lindsey is painting her while she lies on the couch, (4) the whole Gypsy video, and (5) When she sang "Stand Back" on Saturday Night Live. The host was Flip Wilson. (6) Anytime I see her in person performing.

And he introduces her as a rock singer and a beauty queen, so I'll forgive that he forgets to thank her at the very end of the show.

I was getting a little flummoxed by most of the other responses, so yours hit me like a cool breeze of sense.

That weird guy was her choreogapher & pal Brad Jeffries. He stage-danced with her on the 1986 tour during Stand Back, which must have amused Waddy to no end.

Didn't know that. Guess the coke did her really well, hate to say. I've really never seen anything so sexy, hardly. It's amazing....

Thanks for the compliment! :xoxo: Who am I? That is too profound of a question to be answered in the short space we have here. J/K :p
I'll have to check out your post more carefully. I bet we agree on some more things.

Flip needed his @ss kicked for not thanking her at the end of the show  , but you're right about the introduction. It was very sweet, so it all balances out-----kinda.

During the HBO special, her performance of Rhiannon when she gets the tears in her eyes, when she Marched across the stage to do Stand Back, and the pic of her & Christine hugging, they both look like beauty queens. She's also beautiful during her performances of Sara this tour. :blob2:

They look like Dolly Parton groupies, with all the makeup, IMO. But I like the pic because they look so happy.

She just *is* beautiful. I don't think I can pick an a *most* beautiful time.

Sometimes she's beautiful, like a goddess, like in the old 70's era live versions of her singing Rhiannon, and in the Gypsy and Hold Me videos.

Sometimes she's sexy-beautiful, like in the that outfit in Seven Wonders (and no, not the Cyndi Lauper style one!), and in the red outfit in the Talk To Me video.

Sometimes she's precious, like in the Sara video (from the 70's), and the HBO Rhiannon.

And sometimes she's just so darn cute, like her singing Angel in the Tusk documentary, and the HBO Golden Braid.

I could name many more...but you get the picture... ;)

I thought she was just absolutely gorgeous in the very late 70s/early 80s, during Tusk and Bellla Donna.

Does anyone know if its possible to still get hold of the Tusk Documentary on video or DVD? I haven't seen this one.

thanks
