Has anyone watched her show on MTV? I'm all into it now, since she's a Stevie fan and John Shanks is producing her album. He's a doll, and seems fun to work with! ;)

I believe she is Jessica Simpson's little sister.

Yes, she's Jessica's little sister - her show follows theirs (Newlyweds).

Lovin' me some Ashlee Simpson. John is doing wonders with her songs!!! I was shocked and quite pleased she is working with him. Can't wait for her album to drop.

-Curtis...The Ashlee, not Jessica, fan.

I'm a big fan of Newlyweds and Ashlee's show. Jessica, sadly, reminds me of myself sometimes.

Musically, though, I have to say I like Ashlee's music much more than Jessica's. I saw that show last night w/ John Shanks. God, he's so hot! I just love him.

When did Ashlee say she was a fan of Stevie's?

Does this mean Stevie will be appearing in a very special episode of Seventh Heaven?

She's a very lucky girl. She's very young and trying to make it in the music business. She's very lucky in that thorugh her sister, she has the connections to work with people such as John Shanks on her first record. I am glad to see her trying to write her own songs. I really felt for her watching her rehearsing and realizing she was going to have to sing in front of a live audience for an hour or more and then having probelms with her voice. Also, kudos to her for not trying to be just like her sister and drive the formula that works for success into the ground.

I really only listen to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie but I gave her a chance.

HER CD ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really does, i am so picky with my music. "Love makes the world go round" sounds so stevieish to me. Its so great!

Hey Jimmy! I finally agree with ya! I love this album, too. "LMTWGR" does sounds a little Stevieish to me as well. I don't see our Stevie singing "LaLa" though.

Still liking Alice I see....

She's annoyingI'm with you. I can't hold it in. I don't think she can sing. And I can't express how sick I am of these ridiculous reality shows.

I just got her record too, which I never thought would happen, but it really rocks! I haven't heard a younger artist with this much originality in a long time. She doesn't seem that mainstream or sexual which is nice for a change!

She may not have the perfect voice, but hey, neither does Stevie. They have unique voices which I think is far more important then being able to hit every note.

i really liked ashlee's 1st solo effort, lala, unreachable & shadow, i thought were especially awesome, & this is coming from some1 who never listens or would even think of buying the "new stuff", i actually started watching newlyweds becuz of nick lachey, (& omg, i know, i hate boy bands), but nick is hot anyways, that show is what made me give ashlee a chance & also a post on here from a ledgie who had bought the cd, i thought it was a worthwhile purchase, ashlee has a raspiness in her voice which makes me think of STEVIE, i am not saying ahlee is close 2 stevie status yet, but her 1st outing i think will b very successful~ her "rock chick" style instead of a britney/christina/jessica look, is awesome~ i hope she does very well!!!~

brightest stevie blessings~

I watched the Ashlee Simpson show. She is very different from Jessica, that's for sure.

It's cool she is a Stevie Nicks fan. Anymore, who ISN'T?! :blob2:

It's cool she is a Stevie Nicks fan. Anymore, who ISN'T?! :blob2:A friend of mine who praised me for my Christine McVie t-shirt because she said Christine McVie sings so much better than Stevie and Stevie sounds like a goat when she sings and talks. (Sorry--I know that's irrelevant, but it was the first thing that entered my mind when you said that).
