This is my dream setlist for the next Stevie Nicks and Friends AHI Benefit...
It is kind of realistic I think...Stevie sings with the guests, and as always lets them have a couple of songs to themselves with just them and her backup band...It is rather long, thats why I say there should be an intermission

that makes a fabulous setlist - I would just add Rhiannon somewhere in there. I love all the stages Rhiannon has gone through and the current version is just as many have said, a slow burner with a great climax.

I'd love for her to have Chris Isaak back as a guest, and I think Pink would be great (minus the obscene lyrics). The Wilson sisters as well.

I was pretty disappointed when Chris Isaak was originallly announced as a "friend", but MAN, he was fun! I loved the interaction between he and Stevie (and Sheryl) and even when he was onstage alone. He was great and I was definitely converted as a fan! I would love to see him perform with Stevie again. He brought out a really goofy side of her IMO.

Oooh, yes, bring on the Wilson girls!
I've always wondered why Petty hasn't been a "friend" yet.

I would give my left eyeball to hear "Insider", although it doesn't seem like she'd really be able to do the harmony again. Seriously, my left eye....
That song is voted "most beautiful, breathtaking harmony ever" by me...

It's not like he'd have a big commute.

Oh, I think the ability to harmonize is something Stevie has not lost.

I would absolutely love if Tom would be one of her special guests. And I would give my right eyeball to hear "Insider." :D

That's not what i heard
But seriously, I don't think she can't harmonize, I think that she doesn't have the vocal range that the Insider harmonies encompassed. I think the harmony would have to be different. If you go back and listen, It's like: Ok, I had all the notes arranged around the page in pattern of their sound, but the machine would not let me post it like that, it just put everything on it's line left justified  sucks, cause it was pretty cool. Anyway, the harmony's range is wide and erratic for that song, so i just think it would be waaaaay different if she did it now.

Then they'd have a complete set! Think they'll go for it.
Hi! :wavey: haven't heard from you. How's danville? It's foggy/cloudy here every morning, and every early evening.

As I've said for YEARS, I want Chris and Stevie to collaborate on an album together. They're magic together. And he cracked me up at AHI 2000.

there's rumours of another benefit in the late fall, possibly December. Has anyone heard whether it's going to be a Stevie & Friends Benefit or Fleetwood Mac?

No, but if anybody planning it is reading this, Houston would be a great place to host the benefit. ;)

Nice set list Jimmy...but it wouldnt be much of a Stevie Nicks and Friends show..there arent enough collaborations there...
I for one think she could carry Insider quite well now..yes it would be different, but it's not that hard to sing...she could use some of those notes she uses in Say Goodbye live and it would be quite great I think
