Hi !
What a day yesterday !
I've met a very dear friend and we didn't see each other since 1991. It was very weird but very nice. Sometimes, when you see people after so long, you or this person have changed, your life went into different perspective but it was not the case with her and me yesterday. So cool...
As a gift, I gave to my friend a cd compilation of Stevie music that i made for her because Stevie is part of me. She's very important in my daily life and music in general is a good way of express yourself. So here the track listing and tell me what you think !

I think that's a great tracklisting and a wonderful sentiment to back it. :)

Not for the sake of self-expression, but I just compiled a chronological 36 song collection for a friend spanning all 30 years of her recordings titled "The Very Best Of Stevie Nicks"...how original.

I used lots of alternate mixes, all from official sources (no poor quality stuff here). I have to bump Lindsey down a notch and crown Chris Lord-Alge as Stevie's greatest companion within the realms of recorded music since anytime his hands touch the mixing board her songs sound infinately better (witness the work done on Stand Back!).

Also, it was necessary for everything to be leveled with precision and care (by yours truly) so as to not kill the ears of the listener with all of the dramatic jumps and drops in volume evident when one culls songs from like, 100 CD's.

Oooh missionary:

GREAT COMPILATION--I don't agree with every selection, esp. Whole LOtta Trouble, but Stevie definitely should have one such compilation mixing ALL her work--solo and FM-- on the market.
