NBever even heard of Calista until Xena & Ally McBeal.
(Be honest. You just like Flockhart's body. ;) )

I guess it's gotta be Sara eh...too bad Stevie can't spell. :p

Actually, one of my favorite girl's names is Lilah (meaning night), which I prefer to Lily. But Stevie hasn't written that one yet. :)

I work with a Sara. And I've seen it spelled with or without the H.
- Jake
Yeah I know so have I...I just like it better with the H.
But...Stevie has given me a new appreciation for the h-less Sara

I really love Rhiannon. I think that the name sounds mysterious and interesting. I just love unusual names.

Sara. If I should ever have a daughter, I'd want to name her that - except it's my aunt's name and my other family members would get jealous. ;)

Heh. I've seen it spelled Sarrah, which to me is suhRAH, but whatever.
But my fave... Rhiannon or Emmeline (no idea why for the latter, I just like the way it sounds).

Me too. I don't like names that are shared by five kids in the same class. I like different names, as long as the spelling isn't too original.

Ashkenazi Jews typically name their kids after deceased relatives. Maybe that's why.

Emmeline sounds like it needs to be said with a thick southern accent.

Amber, of course! Ok, so it wasn't a song, just a crappy BN demo. But still! Then Rhiannon. I don't like any of the other names. I like the name Rain, but that's not a name in her songs, it's just rain, the water. My best friend's name is Rain. The End

Mom wanted to name my sister Rain, but then she had visions of brats singing "Rain, rain, go away" and decided against it.

Yeah, but since no one knows it, she could make totally different notes, and also save herself the trouble of writing a new song, as she sometimes likes to do. Then she could get someone to overproduce it, and voila! A masterpiece is born!

Sorry, I think the simplicity of the melody & high notes in the vocal make that song.

Me too! I like to have children in my class who have unusual names. It makes it easier, because it is so easy to remember names that are different. If you have several children with the same name, you have to become creative with what you are going to call them to tell them apart. That is tough sometimes.
Another reason I like unusual names is because I have one myself. My name is Sacha (Say shu). Therefore, I would have to like unusual names. ;)

Rhiannon by far my fav!! Have three daughters but my hubby drew the line at naming one of them Rhiannon - I guess I can't blame the man he really has to put up with all my Stevie photos - my Stevie cd's constantly blaring and my Stevie corner taking pride of place in the lounge  so all in all I can't complain - but secretly still wish I could of used Rhiannon for one of them - gorgeous name!

I've been struggling with ways to name my (for now, fictitious) baby after Stevie some how. I may have to relegate it to a middle name. But...if anyone reads this, would you make fun of a girl named Lynx? (make fun of her name, I mean) what about Silver Water?

I wouldn't make fun, but I'd think her parents hate her. ;)
Name her what you wish. Just remember that some day she'll be choosing your old age home, and this is a reason she might pick one that smells like urine.
