I can't wait for Stevie to get back in the studio and make a new album. Do you think she will tour for sure? I would think so since she has toured for everythng (even Greatest Hits things). When can we expect this next project from her? 2005? Please don't say 2006!

Also, is it confirmed FM will be going their seprate ways or could they just start working on a new FM record and forget about solo stuff? If they really like working together then it doesn't make sense for them to do solo stuff when the FM name is so recognizable.

I can't imagine that anything will be ready for release and a tour as soon as 2005. But even when a date is released, don't hold your breath. We've all seen postponements in the past, especially in the klonopin days.
And no, there's no real confirmation of any plans yet.

In recent radio interviews, Lindsey was talking about releasing a new solo album early in 2005... but then he also made the comment that the project could still end up becoming a Fleetwood Mac album.

Last summer, Stevie said she plans to record another solo album after the tour is over, but then just a couple of months ago, Mick said Stevie is anxious to record another Mac album.

So at this point in time, it's hard to say exactly what will happen. They may all want to continue their momentum and begin working on the next Mac album as soon as possible... but they also have to stay mindful of their solo commitments (Stevie, for instance, has at least two more albums on her Warner Bros. contract).

Either way, there's a possibility that we might get something new in 2005, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
What would be really cool, is if 'Buckingham Nicks,' 'Mirage' & 'Tango' would all be remastered/expanded in the meantime... so we at least have something to tide us over. :)

No doubt we can expect some movie soundtrack songs as well.

I think they're going back and forth so much because they're just not sure if they want to jump back into the studio right away. They've been with each other practically everyday since Stevie walked into that studio. I think they need a break from each other first. Breaks usually include Stevie solo albums so I think yes, we will see something from her before Fleetwood Mac makes another album. As far as a Lindsey solo album? I believe that when I hear it. I recall someone saying that Stevie had been periodically recording while they've been on the road...during breaks and things...perhaps the album is already in the works?
