I haven't heard Stevie talk about a Rhiannon album or rock opera since the klonopin years, I think. Has anybody else heard her say anything since then?
Also, what's your favorite Rhiannon song? I know that the typical lists include the original, Maker Of Birds, and Forest Of The Black Roses. (What am I leaving out?) I think my favorite other than the original song is Maker of Birds/Three Birds Of Rhiannon.

This is one project that I've been waiting for her to do for YEARS!! I think this is the one she'll pull out for her swansong. Kind of like that book she's been writing forever. When the time is right. :xoxo:

I hope it's not a swan song.
This kind of project involves risk taking, so who knows if she'll ever do it now.
But I dare her wild heart.

Oh I know you guys, I hope Stevie never has a swan song either. But if she ever comes to the conclusion that she wants to close the book on recording, I'm thinking the Rhiannon album would be the one she'd do it with. It'd be kind of a dramatic close to a rock career that began with the same song. Has she even used any of the songs that were considered as the "Rhiannon songs"? I'm thinking she's saving them with the intention of releasing them as a collection. I can only hope and pray.

That was my original question. I can't remember which songs were Rhiannon songs (ecept for a few). And I remember reading (poosibly in a post here) that either No Light (Planets) or Nomad (Candlebright) was a Rhiannon song, which really surprised me.

Stevie has used several of the lyrics of the Rhiannon songs in released songs. A good example of that is the song Angel. Go to www.inherownwords.com for more info. I think GB a/k/a The Tower and POTU are also partly from that series.

Yeah, I remember The Tower supposedly being about the Rhiannon Baby myth.

I think she will retire when physically she can't sing anymore. As Frank Sinatra or Julie Andrews

When Say You Will came out, and Goodbye Baby was on it, my first thought was, 'That's it. She has given up the ghost on the Rhiannon Project.' Otherwise, she would never have put a 'Rhiannon' song on an album. Logically, that seems to work, but my Wild Heart still hold out hope that I am wrong...

The only songs that I know of are Maker of Birds, Forest of the Black Roses, The Tower.

(I do remember hearing something about Forest...when Enchanted came out. Something along the lines of she wasn't releasing that on Enchanted because she was saving it.)
