Mine is So Sincere.

As with the rest, I can't wait to hear the entire track, but this one just has the best vocals, groovy music, and the chorus is awesome!

What's your favourite of the 12, if you had to choose one?

"So Sincere" is one of my favorites. You're right, the chorus is awesome, and the lyrics are some of the best on the CD.
"Didn't you like my love song, baby?
I was so sincere."
Very poignant, and very Christine.
My other favorite right now is "Calumny." The chorus of "Sweet Revenge" is also incredibly catchy, though the arrangement is the slightest bit cheesy.
Full disclosure -- I've had the CD for a couple weeks now, and I can't stop listening to it. I have my small quibbles, but what a joy to hear Christine's beautiful voice again.

Me too. :D First of all, I'm not going to include "You Are" since I have the entire song, which I love. I like every single one of the other 11 songs. If I had any favorites, right now I would say maybe "Anything Is Possible", "Friend" & "Forgiveness". Plus, "Calumny" & "Sweet Revenge". I can't just pick one. It doesn't sound to me as if there's any filler or "padding" as Chris would say, on this album. I realize it's hard to judge just on 1 minute snippets, but I'd say each song is a real gem in & of itself.

I'm absolutely in love with "Northern Star". How many times can someone listen to the same 60 second clip over and over again? I guess it'll be driving me crazy until I can get my hands on the full length copy of the song. That'll be sooner than I originally anticipated, given the fact that I pre-ordered a copy of In The Meantime from amazon yesterday. It's just not the merits of "Northern Star", but all the songs on the record encouraged me to splurge. I'm sure it'll be worth the extra money, and if it keeps me sane, then yea, it'll definitely be worth it. :)

Hey, this is the first time I've ever written anything here. But I felt compelled to. Just listened to the new C. McVie album and LOVED it. I particularly like "Friend" and "Foregivenessm" both of which sound like they could have come off a Bonnie Raitt record. Her voice is in top form. This is the sort of bluesy pop I've been hoping she'd make for years.
