is this the same thing as "tight-rolling" because if so, I, unfortunately, was guilty of it.

To this day I don't know why we did that to jeans that already had skinny, tapered legs!!

I got in toruble for taking one of those big bitches apart in school. I wanted to know what was in it, so I hid it in my desk and took it apart at various moments throughout the day. I was quite disappointed with what was revealed: plastic.

Great Post!!

(shivers with the memory)

What was with us? Hair to the side, shirts knotted on the side, shirts falling off 1 shoulder. I'd like to burn all those old pics of me with my hair poofed & parted (on the side, of course) with my collar up & blue eyeshadow glaring at everyone.

Damn, I looked HOT!

We used to do the exact same thing except we'd throw the computer teachers name in there. He was this uber strange man who was really thin, spoke with some strange accent and wore one of those bands around his watch. "He's not dead yet!"

He had some pseudo-midwestern accent. Except none of us could understand why because he had been born and raised in this town. You're from Philadelphia. That? might be as bad if not worse than being from New Jersey. ESPECIALLY a South Philly accent  Pot. Kettle. Black. Lamp. Denim. Blue.

Yep. :wavey:

Hey there, Krista... I remember we had all these old IBM dual 3.5 floppy computers that people would play Oregon Trail on and we had like four or five Apple IIs and we'd use them for games in the morning or to print stuff out. I swear, good times. That was back when desktops like what we have now were like, $5000 for something that went over 133 mhz. And laptops were practically unheard of. My first comp was the one I took over from my dad when I was 6... monochrome AST, 2mb, and 32 mhz... and that was *fast*. And I vividly remember Oregon Trail even though I never played it.. just watched. That's what everyone wanted to play, though...

But I'm going back through these, singing these songs and realizing I was one heck of a dorky-looking kid. What in the world was my mom thinking? Moreover, I think it's funny that even when I was 10 and 11 I thought hightops were the best things ever made. Wore em in summer with long black jogging pants just 'cause.

Man, we were weird.
