Debbie Rowe called welfare services to report Michael for being an "unfit father" and denying the kids a "normal life."

Then, she filed papers to get sole custody of the children.

THEN, she told the court that neither child is Michael's, that she was artificially inseminated, and that it wasn't his sperm. Big surprise. Those kids are whiter than I am!

Aparrently, welfare officials are in the process of interviewing the children AND their nannies.

I can't say I agree that this is shocking.
Shocking would be if you posted that you were marrying him.

 I was thinking it wasn't too shocking either...but very little about Jacko shocks me anymore...it's like I'm just waiting for the next bizzare story about him to surface....but this article is interesting.

I'd rather marry a human being, thankyouverymuch.

I think it's quite shocking when you consider the extent that Rowe went to in order to prove Michael is a good father.

Yeah, it's pretty sad when somebody that bizarre doesn't shock us any longer.
Maybe a better thread might be What could still shock you about Jackson?

so does she seriously think she would have a good chance of getting them if it were true that they were not his...she sold him her parental rights to the kids...that is bad enough...but if she did it knowing they weren't his...that shows me she obviously wasn't interested in them in the first place. But she would probably end up getting them just so they didn't end up in a foster system.

I'm sure deep down he is a human being if you can get past his Land of the Lost Slee-stack face.

Biology is king in these cases. If he isn't their father, those kids are hers.

But she was on some interview show talking about how great he was. What are these people on? Does he drug them and then they shake out of it and then turn around on him.

I don't know. No shock to me either, but I guess I'm only shocked she admitted this after so long...somebody must have offered her something...

Not necessarily. It's still possible he's the biological mother.

Acutally, I heard something about her being only a "surrogate" mom and that the egg and sperm was implanted into her. So who knows?!

Unfortunately, biology doesn't always account for custody rights. Sometimes if a person acts in the role of a parent (in loco parentis is the fancy term), they can have "standing" to pursue custody of a child. I have represented several stepparents who pursued custody rights after a divorce or separation.

It's possible she signed her rights away. The whole thing is so insane...

Home of Former Jackson Producer Searched
Sun Feb 1,11:51 AM ET

LOS ANGELES - Authorities searched the home of one of Michael Jackson (news)'s former music producers for an hour but refused to disclose how or even if the search was connected to the sex abuse charges the entertainer is facing.

Sheriff's investigators from Santa Barbara County, where Jackson's case is unfolding, searched the Calabasas residence of Marc Schaffel between 3 and 4 in the afternoon on Saturday, said John Caffrey, a deputy with the Los Angeles County sheriff's department. The home is in Los Angeles County.

Schaffel, who produced Jackson's song "What More Can I Give" two years ago, was not at home during the search, "Entertainment Tonight" reported on its Web site.

The producer has an unlisted telephone number and could not be reached immediately for comment.

Santa Barbara County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Chris Pappas declined to say whether a search warrant was executed, citing a gag order issued in the case .

Jackson has pleaded not guilty to seven counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and two counts of giving the child an "intoxicating agent," reportedly wine. He is free on $3 million bail.

Keep in mind that this producer is the one that also produces and directs gay porn. I've a feeling that this may have something to do with the case (i.e. videos shot of the boys). Time will tell!

Jackson Silences Wife with $2 Million Deal

Michael Jackson reportedly paid ex-wife Debbie Rowe $2 million to keep quiet about their children. British tabloid The News Of The World alleges the superstar, 44, paid the huge sum as part of a confidentiality agreement - preventing Rowe from ever discussing the details of their business arrangement It had widely been believed that Rowe, 41, had received one lump sum in return for bearing two children for the singer - in an agreement which involved her being impregnated with semen from an anonymous donor. However Rowe has allegedly received almost $11.965 million in a deal giving Jackson "sole legal and physical custody" of the children - Prince Michael, 6 and Paris, 5 - when the couple divorced in 1999. Under the agreement Rowe has been paid $215,000 - a "temporary spousal lump sum" and $150,000 - a "non-modifiable spousal support" payment for every year for the next five years. Dubbed "The Extortionist" by insiders at Jackson lawyer's firm - Rowe has also received the title deeds to the star's $1.5 million Beverly Hills home, where she still lives - plus a brand new Ford Explorer Suv vehicle. In December 2003, the Bad singer paid Rowe's $62,566 expenses which included $24,000 for purchases on her credit card and $2,000 for eating out. Rowe is currently fighting to regain custody of the children. She says, "I wanted to speak with Michael over the past few years to talk about our children but he did not want to speak with me."

How about the search warrant that was made public today?

There is alot of information "blacked out" - which means that they probably got the goods on Jackson. Apparentely alot of electronic media was seized.
