The Holidays are comming up really fast.... I am looking to score some Stevie RAL tour photos.... I tried someone's trading site, but they haven't gotten back to me.... It has recently become my favorite Stevie tour, not so much as to her voice, but her energy... Anyway any sites, besides e-bay.... anybody who will trade and/or sell some, I am a little.... okay REALLY desparate

Wow... Thanks alot:) I love being known as "The Fleetwood Mac" kid, at school... thanks for the complement. I do love them a bunch.... Stevie's much cooler live, then in the studio.... I'm sure your just as big as a fan as I am:) I will find those RAL Pictures... Just gotta wait...

That is quite a compliment. I like it when people tell me that they think of me when they hear a FM/Stevie song. I'm sure I'm just as big a fan, but just not with the gusto you seem to display. Back in the day, yea...but.... "I'm getting older too" but.......

I still rock a little. :)

Just be prepared that at the middle and end of the RAL tour, Stevie was very puffy and overweight, sort of like a latter-day Elvis. It was VERY scary.

I don't know what pictures the above poster saw, but she certainly wasn't overweight and scary looking.

She looked tired and her hair was higher than Lindsey's in the Eraserhead days of Tango In the Night, but she wasn't overweight or looking anything near what Elvis-looked like.

She was still tiny as hell. :laugh:

I have some RAL slides that were included in a lot I traded for awhile back. I doubt you would want any of these though... they all look like this (& in most, worse) :distress:. They're depressing, IMO, but if anything it makes me that much more thankful for the happier, healthier Stevie we see today.

Wow. Thanks for all the pics. I really like that one where she's in the clouds... They're all great:D

But now I need an oppininon. I consider myself a "Big" fan, and I admit I have gone overboard, purchase wise before.... I have been talking to a guy for a few weeks, and he has RAL tour photos, which he owns copyrights to, and he will sell me 25 for $50... He says he knows I'll love them, and that they are great pictures... 4x6 Black and white photos.... Would you do it?

this one is actually from the Tango in the Night period...it appears in the tour book. It's a nice pic though. She looked great in the beginning of that period as evident in the Seven Wonders video.

Anyway, maybe i'm whacked but i still love the RAL period...hey, she came out ok, and you know, back then you didn't even hear about her (like Whitney Houston or whoever) problems with drugs...
and i guess it's sort of her version of Janis and The Rose thing so it's cool. i saw her in concert twice that year and, although, i didn't have close seats, i thought "wow, she's come a long way from that Bella Donna concert" (shown on HBO originally in 1982 and several times after back then) which was much more subdued (and in control) comparatively (-sp?)....

anyway, i saw her early in the tour so i don't think she looked quite as bloated (i was watching her through binoculars).
i do remember the twirling was neverending...i thought she would turn into the tasmanian devil...and she also did that thing with flinging her head back and forth (like the Red Rocks performance during "stand back")....

so much for the "i think i was beheaded in another life" theory...

In all of these posted photos she looks ok. The first one is the worst, 'cause she looks so tired. But, look, I love Stevie to death, But most undoctored photos of the RAL tour, she looks much heavier and much more tired and drugged out than even that first photo.

And I saw her at Madison Square Garden at the end of the tour and it was truly scary to those that loved (and still love) her. Thank God she recovered.

I also remember that Billboard ran a photo congratulating her on the success of the RAL tour in '86 and it was way up close, and let's just say the most unflattering photo of her ever (and probably the most realistic of that particular time in her life). Thankfully, I've never seen that photo since.
