From Rick Vito's website:

JOHN HERRON
We all lost a great music buddy recently. John Herron was my close friend, writing partner and keyboard player over a 30 year span. With Stevie Nicks we wrote "Paper Doll" for Fleetwood Mac, and also collaborated on many other songs that appear on my own cds and others by Maria Muldaur. Some of you may remember John as "Jerry Lee Domino", which is how I affectionately referred to him at our shows around the L.A. area through past decades. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his dear family, and we wish them all much love. Domino, you will not ever be forgotten.

What a shock. It doesn't seem like it has been 17 months since we saw "Jerry Lee Domino" with Rick Vito at the Blue Cafe in Long Beach. He was an integral part of Rick's band. Great "vibes", great player. He sure will be missed.

Is there someone out there who could tell me what happened to John Herron? I knew him back in the 70's during the Flo and Eddie era and lost touch with him. I was shocked to see he passed away. Any info ??

He will be missed.

I love Paper Doll and the work he did with it.
