The Kinetic's "Live your life" FULL album has been released on CD (which Weston is on of course) in France by Magic Records. Just got my copy and it's great BUT it is apparently only going to be available this way for this month so here's the link if you wanna get shopping:

Oops, that link didn't take you right there. Well, on the page you get to from that link, if you then click on "artitsts/filing" at the top and scroll down to "K" you'll see 2 entries for The Kinetic, so click on the one that says "KINETIC (POP PSYCHEDELIC from ENGLAND - 1967) (THE)" and THEN you'll be on the page where you can order this album (if you so desired). :) Hope that makes it clearer for those interested. :)

Am investigating on Bob's behalf.


I've spoken to Magic Records. I now have no reason to believe this release was anything other than legit.

It might seem strange that a CD can be re-released without the artiste knowing... but it's not. So long as all sums earned are accounted for correctly, including any royalties due the artiste and/or composer [1], it's routine.

[1] This is always a hugely convoluted process which sucks ;).
