The one sticking out in my mind is Nothing Ever Changes. Those opening lines just rage.
"If it's ME that's driving you to this...MAAADNEEESS...There's just one thing that IIIIIIII'D...like to SAAAY..."

The version of Silver Springs on the VBOFM contains powerhouse and stunning vocals at the end.
Also, the entire Imperial Hotel from RAL is a killer powerhouse vocal, esp. for that era of "The Voice"
Others that come to mind:
I Don't Want to Know (Rumors - The Voice - the time - the deal)
EO17 (Bella Donna and YIPES)
Talk to Me (RAL - this one is about 60% powerhouse)
Great thread!!!!

Imperial Hotel is hardly ever mentioned, but I agree!
I'd add these:
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
Stand Back
Long Way To Go
Planets Of The Universe (maybe)
Seven Wonders
That's Alright
Everybody Finds Out
Fall From Grace

I had limited myself to one, but Imperial Hotel was next on my list.
Also, the BN demo of Sorcerer. The last part with her & Lindsey calling back to each other "WHO FOOOOOUND...lady from the MOUNTAAAAIN."

Violet and Blue. Specifically the end part, "take it wiiiiith you...". She is tearing it up right there.

This isn't so much a comment on the vocal, but I love the passion play lines at the end of the song.

For studio recordings:
Silver Springs (studio version) - love the ending!!
I do find that some of her more "forceful" vocals are on her demos:
Socerer (BN demo) - the end is fabulous
Smile at You (angry version) - "FLAAAAAAAAAAAMIN'!!!"
Joan of Arc - "And I don't even know why you left me"
As for her some of her "live" stuff:
At Last - one of my very favorites!
Rhiannon - Live from 1975 - Stevie really kicks it!!

I also need to add "Whenever I call You Friend." She absoltely nails that and belts many, many time in it. That is one of her best and most powerful from a projection pint of view vocals ever IMHO

*Everybody Finds Out
*Fall From Grace
*Planets of the Universe
*Straight Back (i looove the ending..STRAIGHT BACK NOOOW!)
*Smile At You
*Thrown Down (on the Wall of Sound version, Lindsey tears it up but on the enhanced CD version where she's singing acapella...woo girl, you go...WEEEEELLLL YOU CAN DEDICATE YOUR PAAAIN TO HIM....and besides, Lindsey likes the last part especially   ;) )
I know i'm missing some but she just kicks on a lot of her songs and rocks out...there are too many to even name but these are the first that come to mind, most likely because i've been listening to SYW and TISL A LOT.

I would also add Stevie's vocals on John Stewart's "Midnight Wind." Especially at the end when she yells "...COME ON DOWN!!" I just love her voice on that track!

I'd have to add...
Doing the Best that I Can (Escape from Berlin)...I've always thought that was one of her more intense songs.
From "Say You Will" I'd say...
the end of "Everybody Finds Out" and "Ilume" as well as "Smile At You"

What a fantastic thread with great responses, i agree with all the choices and its fun to see how "my" favorites aren't only mine. I especially agree with the choices 'Sleeping Angel,' 'The Wild Heart,' 'Fall from Grace,' 'Nothing Ever Changes,' 'Everybody Finds Out' and 'Imperial Hotel'-- and whoever it was that brilliantly remembered to mention 'Midnight Wind,' absolutely a great Stevie vocal there!
Since no-one yet ( i dont think!) has mentioned 'Listen to the Rain,' i will, as its my favorite 'Street Angel' cut and her vocal has a lot of power... Another vocal of Stevie's i just loved was 'Tunnel of Love' singing background for Walter Egan! She's on fire singing that! And most of all, the 'Smile At You' demo, the second version... :)

I was going to say WICYF, too.....I love the ending......
"...awwwww everything I do takes me back to you...."
I could play that part over and over and never get tired of it.

Yes!! I forgot all about Listen to the Rain! That has a great powerhouse vocal on it, as well. Also, Blue Denim - the last verse......

Sleeping Angel is so strong the whole way through.
I also love the end of Angel:
..."that girl was me-ee...yeah...track a ghost through the fog.... hey-ey-ey-ey-ah!..." Especially on the Tusk documentary when she was in the studio & you hear it acapella - always gives me chills!

Like, oh my gosh!
It's easy to say that her powerhouse vocals can be heard on "Sarah" and "Gold Dust Woman". "Silver Spring" deserves an honorable mention.

There are interviews with everybody but John & concert footage os Sisters, Sara, Tusk, and some others. It's definitely worth buying. I love Stevie in the ballet room & making coffee with Lindsey.
I bought a bootleg video at a store in Chicago almost ten years ago. It has to be out of print, but I bet you can find it on ebay.
